A lot of ppl say "oohhh I'v been playing this class forever, and its getting a litrtle boring".
Well I don't have this problem, because I play several chars simultaniously. So when I get a little "boring" of my SH, then I just go play with my Glad.... or even go for some Spoiling with the BH :)
The good part is that I almost always have a char at any class which can party with other players.
For example, if my clan mate sorc. is online I party with him using my SH.
Is my clan mate DA, HE, WS online I play with my Gladiator.
I really don't have a favorite class, I think all the classes I play is fun.
So basicly Flexing playtime with classes extends the fun in grinding.
So how many chars do you guys/gals play? and what class?
lol..i have six, mostly dark elves. It is just good to change the play style up. I do prefer the nukers, I am terrible as a tank and I fall asleep with the healer buffers...lol
I have 7, the only two that are pretty high level are my PR and BH. Sadly the BH has been mostly retired as he was nerfed one too many times, though he does serve well to sit in town and sell things that my main finds.
Other than that I have an Artisan, an Abyss Walker, an Elven Wizard, a Human Wizard, and most recently an Orc Monk made for the Kainmotion.
I've probably had a total of 12 characters on my home server but I'm constantly deleting them to try out new classes. The grind is less repetitive if you change things up, and I tend to enjoy the game more during those early levels than the tedious grind later on.
though about swapping alot but just decided i could do that when i subbed as it felt like a waste to not play my mains
now i can play my mains when my clan is about and if im on my own my subs duo REALLY well together :)
so i will never play another character as such but im sure i will sub again atleast once, but only when my 4 classes are all 78 i think or i wont get it done, I plan never to play a nuker as they were so popular but now maybe with C5 they might not be topdog so i may reconsider and try 1 who knows
i myself have played and raised over 20 toons up over 20 lvl. deleted the ones i hated, played the rest to 30, filtered for one class i play the most and really enjoy. i now have 3 accounts and threebox with PP SE for my main class - Sorc.
I don't like Toons... and I don't like ppl who have lot's of chars couse this mens to me, that the person doesn't know what he\she likes and he's not mature in real life.

One main and a d-grade alt for soloing/duoing raidbosses with a friend.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with playing several mains. This is a game, if you find nuker to be "kinda fun", and your destroyer to be "kinda fun for a change", and your buffer to be "fun whenever I want to just chill and be of assistance", go ahead.
If you feel you (the players who wants to play a bunch of alts) should deprive yourself of that pleasure because then you're not "unlocking the true potential of your main by focusing on learning the class", then maybe you need to rethink why you play games in the first place.
Now I find that very amusing... and anyone who knows me would find it very amusing. :)
I could just as easily say that someone who only plays one character is narrow minded and has no ability to learn beyond their own small area they are comfortable with...however I don't believe that.

No this means that the person as other things they enjoy and other goals to accomplish than you.
And Jute is very mature in RL and in game (despite playing with a few nuts immature people, lol), heck, judging from your post, you'd barely reach the maturity level of her socks, let alone her person.

You are aware that even "bosses" work. RL bosses aren't like the bosses you see in game that just sit around all day doing nothing waiting for some smuck to come along and wack them for loot. (instead they sit around all day waiting for some smuck to come along and ask for a raise :p )

As Chaos successfully tore you apart already, I only have one thing to add. Playing multiple classes does not mean that you are less skilled in any one class.
In fact, the extra insight provided by experiencing multiple roles can improve your performance with all classes. In PvP especially, you can see through the eyes of your opponent in each match as you've played in their shoes before.
I shouldn't even need to mention how insane your assumptions are in real life, as someone who only learns a single thing will one day find his job is no longer required in an evolving world.
Well, up until my bf lost his account thanks to nc and his being in Iraq and unable to get his info, I played 16. Now, Im cut down to 12. *sighs* Im going to have to make new toons now.

I've been playing since last January and over the past month or two I've played and leveled all 7 toons at one time or another.
My clan is made up of a number of folks who work together in RL so there are times (like now) when they concentrate on business and I go sometimes a week with only talking to 1 or 2 clanmates.
I find the alt toons give me some less stressful play, let me try out some other game skills, but mostly as a new guy, the alts give me information (at least basically) about each class that I wouldn't otherwise have.
Mostly I'm a tank at heart. WS is challenging too.

I think you just strung a bunch of words together and tried to sound smart... but failed.
On one account I have a bishop, spellhowler, bounty hunter and a baby archer. My second account has a orc buffer and the SE so when I get bored I log any of the first one along with the SE (well, not with the bishop).
dev have 7 rest of servers i have some to but play them now and again i think about a doz total and am a total addict to... but im not sad about that.. why are you . i mean i fyou enjoy playing why be you sad about being a l2 addict?
lvl 56 SH, cos she rocks and I love to blast things
lvl 41 SE cos I wanted to have a go at the whole buffing/healing, but god she's boring to lvl, shes become a bit of a raid **!
lvl 39 scavi to spoil stuff for my lvl 31 arti ( who just lately has done nothing except craft shots because Im sick of seeing DSS for 16!) The arti really needs to lvl but I really cant be arsed...lol
I do however play each one for a little time each day to keep them trotting along, although when I get to class transfer or near new skill levels...I play that one more.
Im considering starting light elf char...not sure what to go for tho.
