Thanks for reading my post... well i just downloaded the game and entered mytrial code from the GW promotional booklet i recieved when i bought factions and thought i would try out the game.
Though now i am stuck because i bought icebolt and now i cant even study the book to learn the spell.. so i need help on how do i even learn a spell cause i spent 3 hours trying to find the answer and i cant find any solutions.
Another issue i am having is how do u even upgrade the god-forsaken spells they say with SP spening and such but how and where u do that i mean i have no manual to go by and tough im enjoying he game for the most part i am relly fustrated and deleted the game because of it... Though i am currently re dowloading it hoping someone will help me out here...
I hope that someone can help me out and sort of take me under their wing and teach me what i need to know about this game.. though i read the newbie guides but i am still a bit baffled over the content and such since i am fresh out of the box..
Well u get Skill Points from killing mobs and from certain quests.
U say u bought ice bolt, do u mean the spell book? For learning the skill u need the appropiate SP and u need to speek with the magister of your race. In the starter village there is only one set, well one master for warriors and one magister for mages. Well u need to improve your lvl for learning new skills skills (http://www.lineage2.com/Knowledge/race_human_skill.html) . click the human mystic tab and youll see what skills u can learn on what lvl.
Otherwise check around on the library tab to the left here, varius topics.
Thanks alot... i just looked it up and its a lv 7 spell and im onnly like lv 5 so i was wondering what was going on with that ... and yes i meant spell books... another question to pose to everyone is can someoen link me a manual or something cause it would help me from losing my mind.. LOL

The library on this site is the manual. Play on any server you like. You usually don't meet anyone till you go to Gludin, but that town's not very populated compared to Giran or Dion.

There is no instruction book for L2 now. The books that are out now are old and out dated. You just need to use this forums and the library on the left. Almost all information you need starting out is in the library, forums or the newbie helpers in towen have alot of info. Use search alot on here almost anything you ask about there will be a post about.

All I can say is be patient very patient. This game is designed to take a long time to get anywhere. Like I said before look to these forums almost anything you need will be in here. All servers are pretty much the same in the new areas. Once you get to about lvl 20-25 you should be to Dion town by then. There will be alot of people there and much more fun then.
Don't buy any books yet. Since you're a mystic at nongrade you learn new spells at level 7 and 14. At those levels go to the trainers and see what spells you CAN learn then buy the book.
You will not always have all the sp needed to learn a skill. You get xp (experience points) and sp (skill points) from killing mobs. You don't need to learn all the spells. Some are useless junk. My suggestion is to go to the Library section on the left hand column of the boards and look at skills. Also ask people what skills are worth learning for your class. Best of luck.
Thanks guys for all your help im in Gustin or something like that.. i am on trial at the moment and it ends on the 25th of this month. I also had a question do u still get the free month when u upgrade ur trial account to the Subscription or do they take out the money for the game + the montly fee :) and thanks to everyone for their advice please keep it coming and dont be afraid to PM me in game as well as Message me on the forums under private message. I check the forums every few hours and i also play Guildwars so for those of u here that play that u can contact me there as well...

Keep an eye on the newbie helper. Starting level 8 or so they will give you some handy dandy buffs to make leveling go faster. He can also help you by pointing out where you can find quests. For beginning players, Quests are they key to more money and better gear.
Other general advice:
- Always buy a weapon before you bother with other stuff (use the exchange gear option withj the traders).
- Never ever give your gear to another player even if he seems nice. Because when you do, expect to never see it again.
- When you see a red named character, get out of there
- Whenever you buy something from a player, check, double check, then check some more. There are a lot of scammers out there lurking for innocents.
