My friend recently got a email warning him for innappropriate language, but the thing I don't understand is that the examples that were given to him of innappropriate langauge were all spelled and spaced correctly, so that the in game filter was not bypassed. If he wasn't bypassing the chat filter...then why did he get a warning?
i once witnessed what can only be called a griefer sling non-foul abuse and slurs and accusations at a player in dion for the better part of a half an hour.
We'll call the griefer "potty mouth" and the other guy "care bear".
So poor carebear first tries reasoning, then gives some lip service back...he goes out following a challenge only to find that "pottymouth" was quite a bit higher. Carebear dies.
Carebear's friends show up and slaughter pottymouth who though he doesn't swear in chat is way out of line and generally nasty.
Finally "carebear" types something to the affect of "kiss my backside you little (pin poke) son-of-a-gun"......................
At which point pottymouth petitions GM regarding carebear's offensive language.
