I just completed the 'Kaysha's revelations' quest and wanted to go hunting near the altar of rites just south of the dark elven village and the school of dark arts, so I teleported to the spider nest as it was the nearest location and made my way east to the altar of rites.
When I arrived, there was the 3 witch NPCs standing by the steps as normal, suddenly these 2 lizardmen (quest monsters) appeared out of know where(no teleportation or anything) and started attacking me (they were way above my level and highlited in red, so I stood no chance and died).
Was this meant to happen or was it a flaw????? (I checked where the next lizardman dwelling/camp was and it was miles south)
Yup had to do this one on my DA I think. It's 3 consecutive spawns of groups of mobs (not sure they are all lizards). You probably just got there as the person that was doing the quest died/killed the last mob of one of the groups and the next group of mobs spawned.
