L2_C4_Installer dont work for me. Pls help! - Retail Forum Archives

I download 3 times with Reget Deluxe the L2_C4_Installer from ftp://l2clientdownload.lineage2.com/Chronicle04/L2_C4_Installer.zip
and I it gives an error when i try to extract it from the zip file. What should I do ?

Dont know if this is the case, u need to extract it with "windows", maybe some other progs work dont know remember i had a hell of a problem with it as well. When the DL is complete think u get the option to extract it, try that.

you need to extract it with win-zip program, and not with win-rar or any other.

I know this isn't much of an answer, but some people have had issues extracting with programs.

The main three are:

Windows xp
Winzip
Winrar

If windows gives you issues try one of the others...

ALSO... Are you using a download manager?

I used Reget deluxe download menager when i downloaded.
When i try to extract it says:
- (winzip) error [D:\downloads\L2_C4_Installer.zip]: start of central directory not found; Zip file corrupt. Posible cause: file transfer error.
- (winrar) D:\downloads\L2_C4_Installer.zip: Either multipart or corrupt Zip archive
- (winace) CRC error in data2.cab
- (win xp) The Compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted

P.S. At first i though i downloaded wrong but after 3th time to download ... I dont know what to belive.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I've never used a download manager (unless it's built into the browser).

Just hit dowload and it "downloads".
