I don't believe so. The article seemed more like a general warning about a new trend of ID theft and credit card theft. NCSs problem last week was a specific exploit of a bug. Who knows though, it could just be that MS found something in their software that allowes MMOs to be hacked more easily and hadn't said anything about it till recentely because MMOs were not very popular before. All speculation on my part though :P.
well they havent said what the exploit was. it could be that or it could be a common bug. If it was a bug i dont understand why they would change everyones p/w.

True. This reminds me of an aritcle that was linked on these boards some time ago about a Korean that got beaten up IRL by some mobster types because he did something to them in the game. Oh well, trust no one :).
