How do u know what lvl a monster is compared to u? I know that red is exteamly hard to ligh blue/green extremly easy. But how do i know the monsters lvl?
9+ levels below you = Dark Blue
8-6 levels below you = Light Blue
5-3 levels below you = Green
2 levels below you to 2 levels above you = White
3-5 levels above you = Yellow
6-8 levels above you = Pink
9+ levels above you = Red
or you can look it up on web sites such as lineage2.stratic.com
Base rule =

When solo, try to stick to green and white
In duo you can do yellow
In big groups you can do the light red-dark red mobs

Ofcourse changes to this base rule are clan/class/cost dependant.
don't forget purple!!!

aka "that mobs that will pwn my butt off even if I just look at them the wrong way"

Why? Was what I posted wrong.
No, but you can look up the exact level of the mob on such a fan site, not just "somewhere between x and y" :)
for mob lvl, drops, skill etc etc it is better to go to [censored].com...this site gets updated everyday

nvm....it seems like ncsoft dosn't like the most popular site that has all the info you need :(

Because they advertise adena sales.

You sure that's the only reason? Cause I never heard of any other site being censored except that one. And I don't have to tell you that L2 sites and adena sales advertising goes hand in hand more then 50% of the time.
In case you mean the Warehouse site, then they are also banned, cause they are actively asking players to break the EULA, by installing a tool, that does sniff the inbound stream sent from the server. Since that is clearly stated as a "no no", it is only logical to ban a site, that makes it mandatory for the registered users to break the rules.

The fact, that the tool is sniffing useful information does not counter the argument, that it IS against the rules.

Yes, but you don't have to use the sniffer to see the sites content and no one is forcing you to use it.

Yes it was that site we were talking about...but your point makes sense, thanks for clearing that up.

@ Istari: True, you can see the detailed advanced features by not using the tool too.

Only reason? Perhaps not. Or-phus is banned as well for advertising adena selling.
