I really wanna get some widescreen LCD monitor and i wanna see how it looks this game on it.
The options i have in mind are Dell 2007WFP and Dell 2407WFP with resolutions of 1920 x 1200 and 1680 x 1050 and i wanna to see the way it will look at those resolutions and i mean real Screenshots not Alt+H, i wanna see how much space the bars, map, etc takes ^^.
If it's no too much i'd like to know what video card r u using at those resolutions and if the game runs smooth.
The fact is that i am a high resolution freak who plays the game in 1600x1200 with Inventory, Stats window and map open all the time and don't wanna change monitor just to see that bars take half the screen and that i have to close some to play.
EDIT: forgot to answer all your questions. Map window is about the same size as Inventory. Game runs smooth (I turn off Ground Detail and Shadows because I don't like them), just the normal jitters when entering a new zone. But that could be because I set the max number on drawing NPCs.
The only thing else i have to ask u for is ghosting...
I presume u have a 2405/7 FPW and i heard that there's no ghosting at all on this monitors but i have to ask u about ghosting cause i'm a MANIAC of this ^^.
And for last i really wanna know what FPS do u have in Max Res with all details High AA Ground deatil and shadows with your 6800, u can turn HDR off cause it turns AA off :P.
Sorry but all this anoying curiosity but i can't see this monitor in Argentina and i don't wanna buy it without really know if there's ghosting or if my Video Card can handle it.
Again man THNX VERY MUCH and i hope another player post some SS ; )
I get no ghosting at all, it's an onboard graphics card with a solid 60hz refresh rate. As for framerate, I'm not actually sure. When I run FRAPS I usually get 60+ fps but that's without detail and shadows. I'll run a test tomorrow and see what happens with detail and shadows turned on. Oh and I use AAx2.
Hmm maybe I didn't make myself clear before - my screenshots are from a laptop screen. I do, however, have a friend with a Dell 2001FP 19" flatpanel screen. She runs in 1600x1200 (DVI mode) and the display is perfect - no ghosting, fast refresh, good color and contrast, solid high framerate (she's got an AlienWare Area51 with nVidia GeForce FX 5950 Ultra). I wouldn't be surprised if she gets a higher framerate than me.
I have a 2007WFP 20in dell widescreen, no ghosting at all. I personally take HDR over AA at the 1680x1050 resolution i'm running. I found right away that by turning the gamma from average to low and then HDR C option, the game really pops out nicely!
Don't even get me started on the PvP/PK part LOL...Anyways, that's not the subject of this topic anyways. Nice resolution and I'm mighty jealous on the screen place it gives OO
No, that is true, but it still stays an eye-catcher...a lvl 75 with a 0/0 score. I'm sure you can second that.
I am by far no pvp'er with any of my chars, but by lvl 20 they all had their encounters...forced that is.
Really? I've never had an encounter with my 50 glad. My only pvp point is from some level 10 elven mystic who thought it was funny to use that ice slowing skill on people who were leaving town >.<

Well I don't really to congratulate or pity you seriously...
It's not that I didn't want to pvp, it's just that there were never any good oppertunities for me. Just saying it's not that hard to have no pvp points at all if you're not actively looking for it. (meaning being in a sieging/warring clan.)
