I just did my class chage to become an Artisian. I am a Pole Arm user and I wanted to know should I go for Light Armor Mastery or Heavy Armor Mastery?

Heavy.... You will need the extra protection heavy gives you.

Ok, I was leaning toward heavy. Whats the best way for me to gather mats and recipies?

You can give the manor system a try for gathering mats, some people have issues with being able to turn in the fruits because the manor has reached it's turn in limit.
For recipies.... I use Stratics (
http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/library/items/etcitems.php?type=recipe ) to see what monster drops/spoils what.
