Why are there loads of 'preachers of doom' in all the towns??( they look like dark horrors but black and they are friendly)

they say that the end is near and that we should be prepared for the goddess of death???? :eek:

Quick side question in this post on same topic.

I've gone with Dawn almost every time and Dawn has won, I get a nice useful buff from it. On the one occasion I went Dusk I got a negative buff because Dawn won - again.

I've never know Dusk to win (on Gustin) since I started playing (about seven months now) and wondered if the buffs change in this instance. I'm guessing you'd get a positive buff from Dusks floaty things and a negative one from Dawns, but what?

same buffs regardless of which side wins
only thing that changes is if it is negative or positive

They need to take away the negative buff for Dusk. May encourage more people to give it a try. Sure, getting Dawn's buff would be nice, but I imagine it's the debuff that keeps people from going with what is currently a sure looser.

It won twice on Gustin as far as I can remember. I wish the festival would be a actual competition other than everyone choosing the same side.

side side note. I think dusk won once in gustin around october or november of last year.

Actually, I really fricking HATE getting that stupid buff! ...no matter what other positive effects it has, it totally SCREWS UP managing resupplies! I mean, full of arrows and shots without being overweight, I wander out of town, only to have the buff fade away and suddenly be awfully overweight... *grrr*
