So I bought a DC helmet.....

Well as you all proberbly know, then the prices for eg. DC helmets has dropped dramasticly in the last week or two.

Then yesterday I got an offer to buy unsealed DC Helmet +3 for 120mill and I decided to buy it.
I also bought a unsealed DC robe for 54mill, so now I only need gloves + boots.
Btw. I'm on Teon.

So do you think this was a good trade or do you expect the eg. DC helmet/robe to drop even more dramastic, like 50mill for a DC helmet and 25mill for a DC Robe?

if the rumors of C5 drops and spoils are true you can expect to get a full DC set for close to 100 mil

You shouldn't rule out the possibility of body/glove/boots going up in price too though, with everyone now buying a-grade.

I'm sure that the cost is going up in C5 not down.

with the new RB system you mite find less items in the market then you think.

I say if you find it cheep now: buy it.. or else don't come here crying!!

With the new RB system and A grade armor recipes becoming spoil/drop I am betting A grade gets a little easier to come by.

What about with the helmet recs being spoilable in C5? That will make the helmets definitelly drop in price..

Yuppers. Not to mention the clan wear that no one will spend rep points for. So the market might actually flood a bit in response to demand.

Yes, but the population on the server is moving from B-grade to A-grade.
We all saw what happened between C3 and C4.
In C3 a Avadon Circlet costs like 4-5kk ... in C4 it cost 13kk :(
So it's not only depending on HOW easy it is to get the recipe and thus the item, but also depenfding on the damand.
So if more and more ppl are moving into A-grade I could fear that the new C5 drop/spoil rate woulden even be sufficient to supply the new A-grades :(

yeah good point. I am also not so convinved helm prices will decrease. I still assume the dark side will obtain most of the recipes anyway and they are very patient and yes many people are at the A grade level or approaching.

You would be lucky to get any type of DC Helm, OE or not for less than 160 Mil. These prices are just ludicrous!!

on that note i have noticed the price of the Tallum helm drop. when i started looking about a week ago the helm was 130mil now i see it for 110mil. Oh, yea and that is on Gustin.

Tallum helmet on hinde is 90 mill flat now. At least I've seen it twice for that. My friend got +3 unsealed DC for 120.

Majestic Helm prices on Hindemith are steadily falling. Some day...

Just be patient, spam in giran for it, you'll get a good deal eventually.. I bought my DC helmet for 115 mil about 3-4 weeks ago, when the average price was 160+.. But I'm almost sure the prices will drop when the recs become spoilable. I'm guessing 50-80 mil for a DC helmet.

Yeah 50-80 mil for something that costs around 5-8mil to craft. BTW caux that's one freaky avatar.

on hindemith, when i bought my tallum set, helm was 40mil, plate was 20mil and boots/gloves were 4mil each.....at the time i thought it wasnt worth the adena from BW to tallum for set bonuses, but now i find its not only worth it, but also made a **** dood investment....seeing as how the most recent prices i have seen are as follows helm 110mil, plate 40mil, boots gloves 8mil each

BTW i bought my set in C3. thinknig it would go down in C4 but my patiance, or lack of, got to me, :)

wow, I think I paid less than 50 mil. Man, I have been out of game too long.

I sure am glad I crafed my DC helm now. I spent 30mil to get all the floors and turned them in and got all three DC recipes. Yes I know I was very lucky even though I failed on the gloves craft. Bought gloves for 10mil and the robes when they were 45mil. So all in all I was lucky but I definatley see the prices going down enough to get a full A grade set for less than 100mil.

I just bought my DC helm the day before the servers went down. On Sieghardt there were like 10 ppl selling them for 70 - 90 mil. I saw someone spamming to sell one cheap. They told me to offer. I offered 50 mil. After some persuassion I got it for 55 mil.. ;)

Good luck on those helmet prices. I'd spill the beans on the recipes but that would cause prices to jump up instead of going down.

Yes, it's going to be very exciting to see what happens next :)

All I know is that I now have a full DC set + a Sword of Miracles+3 .... AND I still have like 100 mill adena :)
