Dusk Wins?

So, the couple of clans that accomplished this just ****** off the majority of the server. Good job I guess? Now an estimated 80% of the server will not be in the catacombs due to this and for what? I guess to be jerks to everyone?

I'd be curious to know how many of that 80% actually competed in the festival. This may come to a shock to the less informed, but it is in fact called a competition. If you are on the losing side and you didnt even attempt to post a score then the only one you should be ****** at is the person staring at you in the mirror. For the record, I didnt compete either, and I ended up on the losing side. Game life goes on....

If you want the side you sign for to win you should really do something to make sure it does. That did not happen this week, deal with it lol.

actually everyone can use the catacombs this week. I think you have to have signed gnosis but both dawn and dusk can use them. There are no seal stone mobs though. Necros are only accessible to the winning side.

I haven't participated in the festivals yet. I have been on both the side receiving advantage and disadvantage from the festival outcome.
Other than my meager sealstones, it's not an issue for me.
I recognize that many more dedicated folks are trying to force an outcome to their advantage and that I take a chance signing up.
One piece of advice to the OP--you actually can make good money in the HUNTING AREAS. Those are those big areas filled with mobs that players can kill.
You'll find them all around cities and towns----generally without a soul in them!
When it was impossible to tell on our server whether dawn or dusk was going to win I didn't sign up for almost a month and ground/grinded? mobs in hunting areas.
If you sign up...you incur risk. Don't want risk? Then don't sign up.
Want a guarantee your side will win? Collect a bunch of like-minded folks and post a festival score.
Outside of that the rest of us choose to be victims....I don't think we should complain about our choices.

I bet they are still very empty. considering how many of you guys are still Dusk.

I tried... i was level 20.
I was in the Necropolis (spelling) and leveled that whole week to 30ish... i submitted load of stones to the Dawn lady. To my disappointment, Dawn lost and the first time i ever done this. I guess that mean i have to try harder.
Just a game, so it doesn't matter win or lose. On the bright side, i gained over 10 levels and i am sure i submitted over 300k of stones... Not bad for a Newbie huh?

Once dawn wins again, Ken, make sure to collect your rewards for that.

They do carry over.

To get that reward you will need to go dawn again. otherwise you will loose it.

no you won't. When dusk started winning again i went and retrieved my AA from before i always went dawn. just next time dawn wins collect your stuff.

you can use blank scrolls to buy things from the merchant of mammon such as Echant weapon scrolls and echant armor scrolls (link to list of what here (http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/features/sevensigns/))

Or, you can sell them to other players for a fairly decent price. Believe selling price last I checked was around 2000-2800 per blank scroll in giran.

At your level, I would actually recommend hanging on to your seal stones until validation week. The competition is going to won by the "big wigs", those high levels purchasing millions of AA and doing the festivals on twinked alts. It's great that you want to participate, but it's easier just to hang on to them and then exchange them for AA after you see which side has won.

What is the price on trade of stones for AA?
I do really want to help Dawn to win but i guess i am not really that much of helping because low level. Maybe some day. But in the mean time, every little bit help. If i hold on to them(stones and blank scrolls), do i drop them when i die? Thanks

Yes, you have a chance to drop them when you die, just store them in wh.
Green stones give 5aa;
Red give 10;
ANd Blue give 3aa.
