Hi all, I use to play Lineage 2 back on May 2004 to dec 2004 and left it. Well I'm back and was wondering if Bartz is still a good server or is it over populated? Just looking for an update on what are the best servers. Thanks
By the looks at the pings I guess I'll go Teon, Devianne or Hindemith.

Erica is quite lively, interesting politics (but not as bad as they used to be), lots of people, some good roleplaying, some dasdardly low-lifes, some near-saints, an economy that is riches to rags to riches, and an environment where only the really good can survive.
If you have what it takes, come to Erica. If you don't...any other server will do nicely.

Go Sieg, we are a very active, live, PVP server, with great groups for raiding & helpful clans. We even have some of Dev server coming to ours. ;)
Darn, I went to Teon, but had to goto work so only as far as level 6....Guess I'll try another server instead...awful quiet there. Too bad we can't move characters to other servers :) Looks like I'll goto Hindemith , Grant you a have a mage at about level 30 on bartz when I left butI consider him gone cause went i left almost 2 years ago i gave alll my stuff away....lol

You've got to keep in mind that the game has been out for a while and the new player areas are going to be a bit sparse. Given the times you listed that you played, I can tell you that things are VERY different now.
For instance, Gludiois now a ghost town and Dion is the town for 20+ players.
Also keep in mind that Teon has the Euro friendly siege times.
Well, if you find that the higher ping is causing troubles then no. But if you try it and you really notice no difference then it is probably the most populated server and might allow for you to meet more people.

Actually, you will find that problem/issue in every successful game out there. In some of these games it is easier to hide because they all reside in instances.
However, in some cases players have really taken a stand and will try to thwart them when they can.
gotta say, man. I'm a lionna guy who started on devianne.
I just started re-playing on devianne and it's a great server.
For me the ping is 1/3 of lionna and the folks have been great.
A guy leveling tonight let me pick up the gold the mobs were dropping--made 40k in addition to my own drops in 30 minutes while he was leveling.
I can recommend devianne now--been there active for 4 days, had 2 clan offers and more assistance than I ever expected.
Don't misunderstand me--the lionna players are out of this world too!
I've been pleasantly surprised by the devianne folks. They're really great so far.
hehe... yep..... ohhh and btw it's just a matter of time brfore all NPC text on Teon is written in russian and all quests are automatic compleated.
That way Teon support the majority of the Teon population, namly 40% Russians and 50% automated players ;)
