I'm wondering if anyones gone the extreme with a prophet and went -8con, +4str +4dex with thier character? I'm guessing if you did, soloing might be out of the question, but douing or small parties?
What about something less extreme like -4con, +2str +2dex?
I have a prophet (currently with Bezerker Blade soon with focus SA) that I'm going to have duo beside my main summoner, so she wont be taking hits other then AOE spells/skills, but I'm concerned that -8con (especially at her current level) would be too extreme, even at the higher levels.

Its not worth it if your is C grade. You dont really need the extra dex at those levels. Besides you shouldnt be hunting light red and dark red mobs.

Yes don't get -8Con.. it wont help you if you solo or pvp in the arena or even for carrying stuff. :(

Changed around? Other then spells affecting men instead of wit, I havent heard of anything else besides that.
And like I said, no soloing with her. Shes on my 2nd account, and my main summoner is 20+ levels her senior. I plan on getting her first to around 10 levels or so below my main before we go out duoing. She wont be pvping, and not going to be using shots, so hp and carrying arent too much of a concern, just being able to take a hit if she somehow manages to get aggro or hit with aoe skills. Besides, the cat will be the DD in our group and being lower lvl, its hard seeing her taking away aggro. Although, even now her patk is almost equal to my main who has -8str. ;)
But I guess I will stick with just the +4str, +4wit. I might even take off the +4dex on my main.
If your 100% sure you wont be uing your prophet to carry ANYTHING, except her armor and weapon , and your 100% she wont get agro ever the the -8 con isnt totaly out of teh question. If you ever deceide to "try it out" just wait till your lvl 52 + heavy armor.
As for me Im finding my carrying capacity [censored] as it is with only -4CON. Not missing the mobs either. And I do tank time to time and our healer is sometimes quite unexperienced at healing.... I want my extra con >< No +dex for me

Yes the +4Dex -4Con tat is good if your only going to PVE & not carry a ton of stuff on you.
I actually find a huge difference since getting rid of the +4dex tattoo, in capacity wise.
It's not crazy. I have those tat's + my A grade set bonus for a total or -10 CON. It's no biggie, I still solo fine. I can only carry enough SS for about 3-4 buff sessions but if I want to be out longer I have friends carry shot for me. And if I'm soloing I rarely want to play more than three consecutive buff sessions.

So what set up would you suggest for PVP BG & AG.. (I know I know we aren't meant for it) but NCSoft had to be thinking of some sort of battle for us to give us heavy masteries & new skills (like erase/mana burn)?

I currently have the opposite for PVE +4Str -4Con. I currently also fought a level 74 SE & WON. As soon as the SE put on his alt characters doom armour. He won, but not by tons the big difference between us was he had more HP then I did. I currently at the time had -8Con. I did however recently get rid of 1 tattoo & now only at -4 Con. As you said the Prophets main duties are to buff/rez. When I'm in a group, that is always my first priority. I also like to have a little fun & my clan/friends enjoy to PVP in the arena for practice. If I do decide to get rid of my -Con & change it to +Con, I will have to depend on my root/return2 party to do the killing for me. (Not like I expected to do much killing, except against healers.) lol. Thanks for the help Cordelea.

1) I'm not quite sure what you mean. I don't try to keep the argo off of me and on my wolf. I do the exact opposite. If I tried to have the wolf keep agro then he'd always die. I have two modes of playing with my wolf: a) primarily lvling wolf - I don't use shot and sometimes have problems loosing agro to the wolf, If I loose agro I turn on SS and usually that's enough to save the wolf.; b) primarily lvling prophet - almost never loose agro to wolf unless wolf gets unusually large amount of criticals. In this case I press and hold the Battle Heal button (healing wolf) until the mob is dead.
2) If I could only have one I'd probably choose my Strider but they're not really comparable IMO. I use my strider almost every time I play, but not for hunting. Prophets are so slow that I need to mount up just to keep up w/ most groups. Obviously when soloing I want to get to the fields ASAP. However, I never liked hunting with my hatchling (big surprise, it’s a Twilight/Dusk). I did it because I wanted to be faster. I didn't even consider leveling a Star or Wind for a couple reasons. Mainly, they require too much food. You spend more in the lvling process AND it costs more to use it as a Strider. Also, when I was leveling mine the others didn't really do anything useful for me. If I had it to do again I’d consider a Star but I still think I’d go for a Twilight due to food costs. I enjoy hunting with my wolf but at my level I wouldn’t say it’s useful. Hopefully skills will be added eventually to change that but until then it’s just another Lineage2 mini-game. I’m very eager for Sept 6th so I can see how my wolf is with Greater Might.
