So i started to trie and level my buffer alitle more and as she is coming closer to lvl 40 i whant a Green SoulCrystal lvl 5 so i can get Mana-UP ...
So i got a bunch of soulcrystals with winterfalls and started to hunt Lizardmen ( lvl 55 ) and nothing happends; so i figure i am missing something.
So after alitle reading on the internet it seems i need to lvl it to Lvl 1 at certain monsters and certain monster for lvl 2 and so on ...
But the thing is it says i cant use it on Darkblue monsters and the monsters that one need for lvl 1 - 2 is about lvl 44 so that makes them Darkblue to me.
Does this mean i can`t level any other soulcrystal exept in the high levels?
If there is a way for me (lvl 56 ) to make a lvl 5 Soulcrystal plz tell..
Btw i know it dont cost much, about 400.000a.
It is just that i whant something to do instead of the eternal grind ...
You can level all the way from lvl 1-5 on the same mob.
It just need to be the mob where you can level a level 5 crystal on.
I usually level SA crystal lvl7 and I do it in GC.
I level all the way from 1-6 on Yintzu, Hanlika and Papillot, and when I need to do the last level 7, I do it on Papillot only.
I think I'v read that leveling on dark blue mobs, decrease the chance for succesfully draining the soul.
So basicly, if you need to level it to lvl 5 you can do it on Harit Lizardman, Harit Lizardman Grunt, Harit Lizardman Archer all the way fro lvl1 1-5.

But when i use the soulcrystal on them I dont get any of the answers :
The soul crystal was not able to absorb a soul
The soul crystal succeeded in absorbing a soul
The soul crystal shatters
The soul crystal is refusing to absorb a soul
it only tells me that i have used it..
And for some more info...
I have taken the quest from the Magister in Giran
and I only have one soulcrystal on me; and I use it when it has less then 50% health.

I think you get the answer that "you have used it" even if you tries to level it on a mob which you are not supposed to be able to level SA crystals on.
I see you have a lvl56 Glad. Just go to GC and level from 1-5 on the Halinka, Yintzu or Papillots. They are in the first rooms you get to, just watch out for the Beast Lord he is aggro and really dangerous without buffs and heals.
You should be able to level a crystal to level 5 there in less the 15-20 min.
... and btw... a Gladiator is BUILD to level SA crystals, I can make like 4 level 7-8 crystals in 1-1,5 hour (depending on luck) :)
Yea i was thinking about camping my butt down on Devils island making Soulcrystal for Humolokus Acumen after i did this one... as i guess they sell pretty good.
But for that i need to figure out what i am doing wrong :eek:

All I can say, try in GC because there I can verify that it works.
But then again its all depending on luck....
Are you sure you still have the quest active?.
If you did like I usually did to get more crystals, then you might have forgot to re-activate the quest.
I used to choose the quest, get a SA crystal, and then abort the quest. Then I did the same over and over again, until I had the needed amounts of SA Crystals on my Glad.

If this is true there are a few things that could be going wrong.
1. Actually dont have the quest on the toon your are using to lvl the crystal, I Have made this mistake before.
2. The toon using the crystal is either using it before the mob is less than 50% HP or is not getting last hit.
3. You are hunting the wrong mobs.
At 56 I was lvling all my crystals from 1-8 on Doom Servants by devistated castle. Very easy as an Sps but dont know how hard it would be for a Glad on Doom Servants.
I also level crystals on Doom mobs (servants, archers, trooper, warriors and knights).
I agree they level quite nice and the mobs are only 1xHP mob so while landing a few crits and they are down.
The only problem I see with Devestated Castle (the home for Doom mobs) compared to Giant Cave is that in Dev.C. the mobs keeps stunning me and the area is quite crowded with ppl. But in GC the only mob that stuns is the Beast Lord, but you don't need him to leve crystals on. Actually the Kranrots in the next room in GC also stuns like hell.... but thats only when you need to leve crystals to level 8.
The downside for GC is that the mobs are 2xHP so it takes a little longer time to wack them. For a Gladiator GC is also good because the Halinka and Kranrots are animals and therefor the Glad. can use his "Detect Weakness : Animal/beast".
strange thing.. so i tried one more time on the same monster before i was heading to GC and then it happend..
It worked :D guess it was a one time bug or something.
So after 1 - 2 hours i now have 5 Green lvl 5...
Only smashed twice but i guess that happends more higher up.
yes getting crystal to lvl 7 has been pretty easy for me. GOing past 7 though seems to be the hard part I get maybe 60% of the crystals I lvl to lvl 10.
