There's a way to don't drop itens?

Hi all
I'm a newbie here, and i heard about a quest to down your pk point to zero. Well, what's the advantage of 0 pk points? I heard too that a char with less than five pk points don't drop stuff... it's that true?
Only from other players you won't drop.
If you have 0-5 pk's, you will not drop any items when being pk'ed. Even if you're red. If you have 6+ PK's, you will drop a *lot* of items when you're red, you will not drop anything if you're white and get pk'ed, but will drop items normally if you're white and die to a monster.
Hello, new player here, could you further explain this? If I die from a monster, do I always lose an item? Is there a percent chance?
Also can the item be what I have equipped or just what is in my backpack?
it's a % chance, i would say around 20% to drop something, can drop up to 3-4 items, but only when killed by mob. You dont drop the equiped wearpon unless you are red and have 6 or more pk's.
You dont drop anything in pvp when having 5 or less pk, no matter white or red.
If you die to a monster there is always a chance that you will drop an equipped item or item in your inventory. The exception is your equipped weapon and your adena.

If you're red with 6+ pk's, you can also drop your equipped weapon but not adena. You will most likely drop 3-5 things when you have 6+ pk's and are red. Sometimes you will pop like a pinata and drop half your stuff.

You will never ever drop items when you're white or purple *if you are killed by a player*. This goes for even when you're red, but only if you have 5 or less pk's.
Wether the finishing blow is from a monster or a player is what determines if you got pk'ed or died normally. For example if someone roots you and a mob hits you, you may drop items. If you're almost dead from a mob and a player comes along and finishes you off, you will not drop items.
One more thing:
You can never drop more than 5 items.

(so keep a bunch of crap in your inventory if you wanna go PK a lot, chances are good to drop 5 times crap instead of the good stuff)
Or, if you wanna PK a lot, grab some buddies and drag them around like bodyguards.

Or just use NG gear. If you want to "go around and PK" most likely you don't want a challenge, and therefore it's the newbies for you. a level 17 in top NG could die to another level 17 in top NG, so why would that change if it's someone 40 levels above them? >.>
when fighting a mob, you cannot drop most quest items, you CAN drop magic coins, TOI blueprints, and soul crystals.

when i had played lineage2 for a few days (started when c3 came so i had the 156k a staff at that point) i see this red archer with top d bow/armor running on the other side of the hill

I figure what the heck and run towards him and somehow kill him in 2 nukes before he has a chance to shoot me

He dropped a shower of loot, top D bow, 4 pieces of elven jewellery (i dont think he had these equipped lol) and 200+ heal potions

i had top D at lvl 20 :)

you can only drop 5 items at once.

Quest items that are in your "Quest inventory" will not drop.
Anything in your regular inventory except Adena and Ancient Adena has a chance to drop, doesn't matter as to the means of acuiring the item (quest, drop).

Items that prevent dropping Items....
Charm of Luck...but this item will only protect in raid groups not in open fighting.
