Um Well that would be because their still not clear on what they mean by updates, it could mean anything, small little updates for bugs..etc, actual expanding, whatever. And this is the player question board, Everyone has said a different answere or a different form of the answere and I wanted a clear one,while I thank you for answering, if my asking for clarification bugs you, don't answere and I will wait for someone else to answere.
but... he dident say that the Korean servers keep getting cronicles 6-12 and we (NA) only get unnamed updates.
He just said generally all future updates will not be named Cronicle anymore.

Hello Crushmaster! Well, I am not sure if you are asking about an actual [expansion named] “Chronicle” or the expansions for Lineage II. I’ll just answer both. Chronicle 5 will be the last [major update named] “Chronicle” that we will launch. And as long as there are players who enjoy playing our game, we will keep updating Lineage II. I am personally curious about how many expansions Lineage II will have. :)
I dunno how more clearly then can say it. If the Devs do not know, how many expansions Lineage II will have, that is an absolutely logic argument to say, that Chronicle 5 will not be the last expansion. Each 5 chronicles had an own name so far. If a future chronicle is named "The endless answering of the same questions", then it will probably the largest expansion ever. But it will not be a chronicle.
I hope that will answer it now, even if I am not an official spokesperson of NCsoft. They will not say anything more than I do on this matter.. (I challenge you to proove me wrong, Spam & Mistryl ;) )
