Who derails threads quickest?

My vote goest to SirE, though I have to say that Underpants_Gnome can do a fine job when she sets her mind to it!
I'm almost to 63!
Assuming I have understood the topic correctly this is quite an apt post because on the thread in the suggestions bit I set a thread on silly but fun skills to have.

One post congratulated the fact that it was difficult to hi-jack the original post.

I suggested that the one person who could do it was SirE lol.

I'm still waiting however :p

Depends...are you talking about derailing as in the SirE method or in such a way that the thread becomes as pointless as watching midgets compete in a jumping contest?

watching midgets compete in a jumping contest?

Ohh, do you have a link to this? I could go for some of that right now!
Is derailing threads something to be proud of? I admit it's fun to post funny stuff once in awhile, but to continually derail threads is, how do we say, not so flattering.

A great example is trying to read the threads in the Gustin section. I now just read the first and last two, it's guaranteed the middle is pointless, boring, flaming, hi-jacking and general dull repetative clan *****iness
I'm flattered Jute... 4 dozen cookies for you!

BTW my birthday is coming soon... I'd better get A LOT of presents.

About as flattering as going to ANY thread, reguardless of topic, and talking about bots, like someone I could mention.
California rest in peace, simoultaneous release.

NOW

Posting something random does not derail a thread. It is looked upon, a smile from the reader and then it is swiftly ignored. A true derail would invite people to continues talking along the same lines but causes people to think in a different direction afterwards.

EG. original post might look like this> I have SS to sell xxxper shot

a reply to derail might be > Woa thats cheap, what did you do to get it this cheap?

A normal reply would be along the lines of> hi, i WTB.

Do you understand?
i like cake.
this thread needs to be pointlessly derailed like many others ive seen, here and on l2blah.com

Threads run on a rail?
I saw a rail once.
<whistles>

I never conciously or intentionally do it. :p I guess my mind is to spaghettified.
I still say that British Railways are more efficient than German, from my experiences. 100% delayed on German, 0% delayed on English.
And for heaven's sake stay off the American ones! You gotta head halfway across the country to the east in order to get to the west coast from the middle of the country!!!!
