Why are you moving to Franz?
Im moving because Teon is a dump, i need a fresh start and because i LOVE the early bird clan dramas. The EPIC race to get a subclass first (excluding tractor drivers.)
Didnt get a early start like lost of people, so now that i know how to play the game it will be nice to start on a lvl playing field and work on a clan.
Almost afraid to post here.... man i dont wanna reroll but a new server sounds soooo good.
Allways hated myself for not making a human dagger.
But now i have the chance; really have to think about it...
And who dont wanna fell the good old days when people shouted " pk pk pk " on talkingIsland and a no0b squad came rushing to kill him hoping to get a loot worth 10k :D
I came along in the middle of C2 (winter of 05) There was still a good deal of activity in starter towns. I remember all the noob dungeons were full. Then I leveled my way across aden to EG. Stayed on the trees until 35 then went to cruma. Had a lot of fun in cruma. Of course it'll all go on in the catas this time. Still imagine necro of sacrifice packed with people, fighting over rooms and training each other. I look forward to the new 20-40 lands in elmore. It's more fun when you need to level there as opposed to playing with an alt there on the old server. I just like the low game.
Where to start..I'm currently on Erica. i only been playing for like 3 months then took like a 2-3 month break lol then came back like a month ago lol...Erica was good but when i came back prices jumped much higher in everything, let me say bot city...and places that use to have lots of people were replaced with bots and not much people..
So even though this server is going to be like on the other side of the earth lol i'm still going to join this one and it will be bot free atleast for a while...
Plus it will be a freash start, everyone around the same levels..should be lots of activity..might be able to see more then 10 people in gludin..you get the point ;p and money will be harder to come by i amagin wich will be good and the prices of things when they get going should be kinda cheap sine no one will have the money to spend say 10mill on a crappy weapon that someone is trying to charge. I don't know what character i'd want to play either to many good ones but oo i can't wait! :)
I remember, back in Prelude, forming up hunting parties 20-30 strong just to go take on the farmers in the Elven Ruins on TI. You always knew them: Dark Elves wearing Manticore and carrying a Maingauche.
Well since I am not European I dunno if it would be best for me to choose this server for the long run.
I have a strong feeling that when this server is launched eveyone and their grandmother is going to log in to just feel the noobness again.
I for one will probally make a Dark Elf fighter because I just wanna give that a try. I also want to have eveyone on a level playing field with no purchasing of adena or 24/7 botted characters. And best of all lvl 10 PvP, woot!
Will Franz become my new home? Hard to say...I guess if if I find it LOTS more fun and many of my clannies decide to reroll to it. But it probally will be my home at least for a few weeks.
I would hope those that want a cleaner server will try playing on here. They will eat away any bot or pro farmer that joins the server.

Don't get your hopes up. Everyone who joins this server already has a 7x main + subclass on another server. If you seriously think they are planning to grind their way back up you are wrong. Franz is going to be the most automated server there is.
Yea, which is sad but inevitable. Just as it happened on Teon nearly 2 years ago, I remember getting a bot killed near Gludio, a player botting (orc fighter) in the middle of eveyone. (everyone or every bot? that's the question)
Because all servers except Franz are so corrupt, botted and controlled by ebayers. I am fed up with it and want to move , even if I have to leave behind my beloved lvl68 BH.
I truely hope that players that consider a move to Franz are players who want to restart on a clean server.
I dont know about that. I have been looking around various forums. It looks like there are alot of players coming here that want to keep this server clean.We have been told about all we can do as players is petition but you can bet everyone thats coming with me will use all our petitions everyday if we need to. We will also train often to. This server does stand a chance of being a good one. Only time will tell really.
I have to say now i am on Lionna server and very pleased too :)
The only reason i would join the new server is to recreate my characters and keep their names original to me :P
I think most ppl will do the same ..but since all the servers will go to C5 .. there is no much reason for rerolling ...( it would last 5-10 h the most i think until any1 reroller gets tired and go play his 7XD character :P)
you think the other servers didnt try to clean out the bots?? we were already bot hunting in prelude when the game was completely new and demand wasnt as high yet. now the bots know theres money in the game so they1ll work harder to get more.
i remember the farmers making high lvl archers and they would protect a room of bots. and when you would attack one of them the archer would drop by and kill you. i wont be suprised if they would just have live players lvl up 24/7 to protect the lowbie botting groups.
dont get me wrong, id love to see how clean server plays like. but i do think some people will be shocked aswell because of the lack of materials and the insane prices that will come from the great shortage

and u all know that PK isnt good thing if u use the "start" weapons...
they will finally all goto areas with non aggro mobs , cuz alot BH's will be arround and try to make some cash from em...
until NC dont "disable" the forcelog thing ( just let chars stay 30 sec in game after DC ) we will never ever get rid of those guys.
suxx for real players too, but thats the price...
im moving to franz, cuz "the high end content" on the other servers is pvp + leech it back from AF and swear u dont ...
if u know how to play, where things drops which quests good ... u dont need to ebay/watching walls/whatever.
and the lower lvl ranges up to 60 is the most funny time, cuz no1 cry for brez for 1% lost ^^
im pretty sure that 99% of the cata childs (ppl u never ever seen but they 78 and come to pvp) dont move to franz till next year , before giran is filled with "real farmed" things..
and the best thing is ... no more waiting till 3am for a siege/manor....
Im moving to franz because it will be the perfect time to try a new class without the pressure of making it 75 ASAP so i can contend with other people ^^
That and im European, and want to do it, perfect time to invite friends to try the game.
Im either making a Dwarf to get some money first or going straight to making a Dagger =) (Ive always wanted one ^^)
kain is gay thats y im moving. even though i started in beta a lot of the good ppl quit or got banned. there no pvp all their is griefing. so ya thats y im moving to the new server

So CN Soft answered my prayers by opening this server so that I can jump in where everyone is equal.
I simply LOVED L2 back in early prelude when everyone was still walking around in random d-grade gear and people didn't care how xp-efficient a party was, as long as it was fun :)

Yeah, I still have all my chronos on my Hinde chars. Highest was a 26 warrior with ring mail armor and a bastard sword, but by gawd I lubbed it >.<

lol na you dont put a downer on me... i very well know of bots etc. they were there at the begining of the game so actually nothing wil be diffrent and that is what i whant.

Moving with my friends. We are pretty fed up with the Alliance mafias that have taken over our server. Can't level past 60 without getting pk'ed by large clans excluding us regular folks from level appropriate hunting grounds. I personally look froward to seeing a fresh start. Never been in on the a clean slte before. I will have loads of fun leveling a new scavy! See you in Dorf town! Woot!

I have changed my mind about Franz. After seeing how bad the bot problem is and NCsofts lack of action against them I have decided not to move. This is such a joke. I am so disgusted that I may not renew when it come time in mid September and just quit this silly game that caters to professional farmers and botters. I don’t understand why any sane legit player would even put up with this.

NCSOFT took care of that, by not allowing you to drop when you die to mobs now
bah then bots just taking up my play space now so ill have to lvl 2 chars, i to play with and one to perma red on bots.
BTW dont read into this post as im not a nice person, in reality i help as many ppl as i can (without bringing my lvling to a stand still) and i enjoy leading RB raids 3-5 times during the week..and yes i will be leading a few on franz starting about 48 hours after i get a new graphix card (starting about middle of next week look for LowGrim )
