I just returned to linage 2 after being gone for alomst 2 years. Now I have a mage that has gone red from when I use to play killing bot farmers. I was told by another player online that the Repense Quest will make my mage go from red to white again. I have signed up for the quest have the ten tails and still hunting orcs. How many more do I have to kill. My Karma is like 92000. Yea nice and high. Just wondering if anybody has any further info ion this quest for me. Thanks in Advance.
Umm, that will just reduce your PK count. You need to kill characters and/or get washed. Let me advise you.
Run to Floren town, it's a neutral town, deposit all your gear in a wh, everything, so you're naked, then run around or delevel yourself until you turn white again, I know a friend had 32,000 he lost like 6 levels from that point on, it seems you're on pace to lose an astounding 15-17 levels or you can get % rez or brez, but the brez will be really expensive.
Yea that quest is basically for poeple who go red but no one seems to have any info on the details of that quest. Also have the best D grade armour, staff and jewlery on. I tried just running at soldier at gate but I only lose about 253 karma every time so that would me it would take me about 350 runs at the guard before going white. Thats crazy. I tell you one thing. Once I go white again I'll never go red anymore. Maybe I'll keep kiling orcs and see what the quest gives me. If I lose some gear I have over 100 milof adena anyways. I keep giving my dwarf my money and stuff. He keeps me supplied with D grade blessed spirit shots and other stuff liek heal stuff and other stuff.
you cant start it while red at least you couldnt. She says something like you have to be ready to repent your sins and if you are red she considers you as still acting sinfully.
Well then please tell me how much of what do you have to kill before going back to Judge
I suppose you can start the quest when red, but I don't think you can finish it while red. You need to talk to the Giran Blacksmith a couple times for him to complete the manacles IIRC.
Off the top of my head the quest goes a bit like this:
1) Talk to a "Black Judge" Depending on which one you choose, you will get sent to one of three other places. (Hardin's, Floran and South Entrance to the Wastelands are the three Judge locations.) I talked to the South Wasteland one and got sent to Piotr out by Orc Barracks.
2) The NPC you are sent to will have you kill a modest amount of Mobs, (I had to kill 10 Turek Warhounds IIRC) then they send you back to the Judge.
3) ? I think there is a middle part here where the judge send you to the Gluido Blacksmith and he has you do something, but I could be mixing this up with another quest.
4)You need to go to the Giran Blacksmith and he will craft the manacles you need for you. You will need a bunch of mats and one higher level Craft. (If you don't have these on hand, it could cost up to a couple hundred K's for them at market prices.)
5)Return to the Judge and they will complete the quest. I think you also need to talk to them again to 'activate' the manacles so that you can summon the sineater.
Overall the quest is fairly easy and just involves a fair bit of traveling and a bunch of materials. (The mold can be crafted by one of the afk shops in Giran, and offhand I want to say it was a 'Blacksmith's Frame'. )
I see now, yea I have the 10 Turek Warhounds, but went back to judge and she says basically i'm not ready. So I bet you can't be red to go back with her... Hmmm maybeI'll pass all my stuff to my dwarf for safe keeping and run at the city guards 350 times til I turn red....lol thats nuts...but gotta do what i gotta do..i just hate the running back all the time to the guards. Thanks for that very detailed info, muchly apperciated..cheers
Yea I talked with Piotr after I had the ten tails andkilled about 30 orcs but the only 2 options were to quit or continue, I hit quit and nothing happened, I even walked all the way back to black judge and she did nothing, so now I walked all the way back and will continue to kill orcs for awhile. I'm also thinking of going bak to gluid town and give all my stuff to my dwarf and run at guards for about 350 times til i go from red to white :(
You could tryt finding a low level person to kill you. I heard (and this is just a rumor) that if someone lower level than you kills you that you lose more karma.
Wow reallly......have to look into that cause I'm only losing about 253 everytime the guards at gates kill me and divide that into 90000 is about 350 runs at the guards...argh
