Any word on what the debuff is exactly?
Not sure but if it takes away your buffs even from ranged attacks this armor will be insane.. for one Example
Taking away speed and crit buffs from archers, will be pretty hard to kite then :eek:
on PTS the gms were wearing apella and it was debuffing slow for 10 secs(i was shooting a bow with an HE). cant remember if i saw windshackle from it too
Think that every class that cant get into close combat wanna have this armor.. 80% is very high so its not like its rare athing. Can think of a couple..
Daggers, Gladiators, Tyrants, basiclly all Melee :p
And of course Range attack users hehe ... after C5 everyone is gonna have an Apella set.
Well, it has no offensive bonuses other than the debuff. It has nothing for more damage output, let alone for mages who so crave their cast speed and matk.
As a WL it would be a crime for me not to get this. 80% of pvp for me is running after mages and archers.

Big question now becomes are there quests involved to purchase this armor? If not who do you purchase it from?
No there is not a quest to get it. there is a dwarf standing in Rune Castletown selling it; atleast on the PTS.
( and i think that is the case on the live server too .)
Other then that you have to be active in the clan to gather clan points. dont really know how fast it will go to acumelate the clan points but i am sure it beats paying 200.000.000 for a A-Grade helmet :p
I have some SS of them at the store in Rune. I don't know how many points clans will have but they were not cheap. If I remember correctly each piece is 4-5k points plus Adena. Someone who is home and can check please verify this for me since im at work.

These clan armors/robes are only used in pvp, not pve
Well if it uses windshackle also as a debuff. i would think it would an ok armor for Melee...
And for PvP this armor seems very good for atleast me as a Gladiator.. what good does boost in P.atk and atk.speed if i can`t even catch the target.

Gonna be a bit of work getting it tho. You get 1000 clan points for taking a castle and 500 points for defending it. You get 1 point for killing an opponent during a war and 100 points for scoring first place in a festival. While the list of ways to earn points goes on, that's just to give an idea. It will take quite a while to get a full set, let alone the fact that you'd probably want to buy the clan buffs first and there are also ways to lose points.

I honestly think that an 80% chance to fire a debuff at a range when attacked is excellent for dwarves and tanks - and quite possibly for the pincushion classes like healers.
Imagine a whole party of archers getting simultaneously windshackled after shooting the healer. :p

The disputed point, for that matter: The SR on the loading screen is apparently sporting Apella heavy, not light. Poor TKs.

Disappointing, the armor looks much better from the angle in the picture that I posted. Looks kinda ****y in actuality.

- A clan member becomes a Hero. +1000 points per Hero.

he likely got it from blah. but; i see buffers really getting into apella as opposed to tallum or DC robes. only i dont think the res bonuses due to wit from the armor sets would be a good thing to give up.

debuffs mroe or less are useless c5 with shorteend duration, and what healer will survive mroe then 3-4 shots form an archer with Draconic and CoV? exactly none will.
The robes are compleley useless until they add cast speed, pdef, stun resist or run speed, or soemthign useful other then a debuff that adds very little to nothign in terms of DPS or Survivability.
But i am still looking for more info:
Is the Debuff thing only in PvP or also PvE?
Is the Slow Debuff really 10secounds?
Is there Windshackles to as a debuff?
and i still cant find Orc fighter and dwarf pictures.
