I'm trying to decide what A-grade armor to put on my tyrant? I assume my best options are DC Light, Maj Heavy or Tallum Heavy. Thus far, I've liked the extra PDef from heavy armor...but perhaps in the higher levels, the extra evasion from light armor will mitigate that difference?
I'd been leaning towards the DC Light for the +4% to both atk.spd/p.atk. I like that there's a balance there, which kind of fits the tyrant. But I'm not sure how often the paralysis resistance comes into play in either PvE or PvP (I'm usually more concerned with getting stunned/slept/rooted).
The +8% atk.spd from Tallum is really nice (it's what I have on my BD). And it just looks really awesome seeing them hit that fast (although I'd assume you'd go through soul shot like no ones business...and A-SS ain't cheap!).
But thus far with my tyrant in the cats, using Ogre+FF has been better overall than Puma+FF...which makes me think that having a good blend of P.Def/P.Atk/Atk.Spd works best. Given that experience, Majestic Heavy seems to replicate and augment that trend the best (good PDef for being heavy, +4% p.atk and +2 STR); and the extra Accuracy can't hurt.
I PvE mostly (with full Prophet and SE buffs), but my goal is to be able to PvP as well. I also have +4STR/-4CON tat, and will probably get the +4DEX/-4CON. I also wield BT w/ Focus.
Any suggestions on which armor to get and why? And if you have personal experience with tyrants in various armors, your insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
