SE in PvP

Has anyone tried an SE in high-defense light armour with an acumen weapon and shield in PvP, just for debuffing/hassling? I know this has no room in the archerVsNuker pwnage-fests, but I'm thinking of the ordinary mixed groups PvP.
actually my friend tried it.

We messed around in arena and got owned by another 2 because his casting speed was low as HELL even with a homu accumen.

We are talking about 3-4 seconds to cast a freaking heal.
With +WIT and everything?

And the idea is, of course, not to heal in light, but to debuff. ;)
SE's cast too slow in light armor, even in BW which has 15% cast speed bonus. SE still cast way too slow in robes, unbuffed.

The only debuff SE's have is wind shackle... that got nerfed in C1 T.T... It was only good in prelude cause it lasted so long... Prelude WS gave archers 75 atk speed; SE>archers. Now it's useless, cause it only lasts 3-5 seconds?
It lasts 10 seconds - and 10 seconds of 30% of a proper DDs damage is not to be underestimated. It also drops the speed at which tanks can root and stun, a valueable asset.

There's also root (still a debuff to my mind), slow (yes, icebolt lands after a while) and the blocks for the shillien saints.

They will, as of C5, also get mana burn (a sort of debuff to my mind), another nasty meddler - and erase, plus the time to do it since they're not grand for heals anyway.

The only problem is of course that healers are prime targets - the question is whether a debuffing SE would still be one or not.
I hardly land root anymore since everyone has mental aegis. That buff is overpowered...can't wait til C5. If anyone has lvl 1 mental shield, my root won't landx12.

Icebolt lands pretty consistently if you have a high mtk weapon, but I don't rely on it.

If you're wearing healer robes, you'll always be targetted. Robes=pvp fodder.
Yeah, thus I'm asking - if you're in light and not healing but debuffing, will you still be attacked at the same high priority?
yes, cause se's are easy kills

Possibly attacked sooner as your name will show up on the screen of everyone you debuff.

Others have posted problems with an SE but my main concern is their inability to escape when the hrmmm pooper scooper hits the fan without using a bsoe.
