Should a Orc Raider go dual sword or Sheild/sword

I am wondering if a Orc Raider should go with the dual swords, or if it should stick with the sheild and sword combo?
You don't get any dual sword masteries, so i feel you would be better off sticking with weapons you have masteries for.
Oh, lol

I was asking cus my wifey has one, so I did not fully study it.

thanks for the info btw
Two hand swords are a very solid option. :) Both her normal sword masteries and the two-hand-weapon masteries work for it, coupled with orcish strength that makes for packing a pretty strong punch.
Do they?

I always assumed that the dual swords was something completely different. And.... dual weapon masteries isn't the same as 2-handed masteries
Thus two hand swords, not dual swords.

Pre-40: Duals are gimp.
Pre-52: Duals are gimp for everyone but BD & Glad.

And C5 brings new swords - I bet the two hand sword focus will once again be better than that for duals. ^_^
My bad....

I read it as you said duals where a solid option. I don't know where my head was at the time, it must of been up my [923] :)
It is definitely good to clarify these things though. :) If only in the interest of the OP.
a titan in our ally does 10k crits on "red" mobs (80+) with a 2-hander (with frenzy ofc...)

I am wondering if a Orc Raider should go with the dual swords, or if it should stick with the sheild and sword combo?

also pick up a polearm if you can afford it. nice to have in groups

Specialized groups

Only use polearms when you go in an AOE group. I have seen what a single polearm wielder can do in a normal group when his weapon keeps awakening slept mobs.

But AOE hunting is defenitely a thing you want to have experienced. Make sure you bring a few good and fast healers with vr buff to keep you alive though!
