I have been thinking about classes. I just can decide. I LOVE my AW. But I already know everyone is going to be a dagger user in C5. Should I abandon my favorite class because of that? Thought of making a tank class.Maybe ill look through skills and decide on one of them. This is a really hard decision for me. :confused:
i would pick the one you know that you can level to 80. But at the same time playing the same class as the one before might seem boring until youuvve gotten past its level and even after maybe. Thats why im not rolling out a nuker.
Pick the one youre comfortable with...to hell with what everyone else has. If you enjoy playing a dagger then do it, if you want a tank then go for it...Ive got a DA on Bartz. I'm also rolling a dagger for kicks. :p

Just because everyone else does it, doesn't mean that you have to be forced to "do something else".
You're not hurting anyone and having "one more dagger" isn't going to send the game into the depths.
Don't let others make decisions for you. Do what is right for you. Even if you get flack for it.
just because every one else is goin to roll a dagger shouldnt mean that you have to give yours up.
i kno im not retiring my TH when C5 goes live.
all the people who reroll are gunna need guys like you and I who are daggers already and know the class flawlessly to guide them through being a dagger class.
otherwise you would have a bunch of noob daggers running around trying to take advantage of the power they have atained and using it in all the wrong ways.

Ok I dont know what the hell you just said. It is indeed a fact that me and my wife will play L2 as a dagger and a nuker. What point are you making? 2 makes duo no matter what the calss.

Well, for the first time I felt that "feeling" of being like everyone when I started seeing all the spell howler subs. All I wanted to yell was "wait a minute! you can't do that! That's demeaning to the class!!!"
But the reality is that everyone plays for their own reasons and they have the right to have the experience they desire. So, if they want to quickly lvl sub to 75 then of course they are going to take the route that is the best for them.
I'm not sure which class ill gonna play too >.<
either i would like to play a SPS very much ... but ... a TH would be fun too ... and ... a HE ... >.<
just think about it. Originally i was stuck with BD, SH, PR, AW (yes alot of Dark elf :P), SwS, Paladin and SR. AFter careful thinking, talking with my friends i worked out a BD would best suit my style.
As for you Azran, i cant comment on your play style but all of your classes level quite quickly and are good at pvp. So decide between Range Vs Melee, Damage out put, consider downtimes and how much adena it would cost to run them effeciently.
Well i played a BD 2 years long as Main ... i just can say that im happy and good with the SPS in PVE and also in PVP ... but yea ... the other classes are funny to play also .. i guess im going to play a Mage :P ... ill see :) thx for your answer man :)

The scary thing is that SO many of the people I talk to that are starting a dagger in preparation for C5, or have plans to start one on C5's release have just barely struggled to 70ish with a first toon...and a dagger's "awe inspiring L337N355" won't be evident until 75+ 0.o
Playing a class you think you might like because on paper lethal blow looks really superty duperty is ridiculous when you consider the hundreds of hours of game time poured into getting that one ability...
I'm not telling the daggers that are out there and want to stay daggers, or people that enjoy daggers and want to stay daggers that being a dagger is a bad thing....I'm saying that picking a class based on the flavor of the month is just as bad an idea as it's always been!
For my part, I'll still play a hairy little dwarf and an archer...
You are absolutly right! It makes me crazy when someone starts all over just becuase they are afraid of getting owned in pvp and if I sometime get a toon to 70+ theres no way im making something new. :)

Ive played enough Support classes to last me a few decades, its time to take charge and stop people killing me with no resistance, time to take the offensive! =P
well my opinion is .. u have to know how to play with your Class ... thats the important thing .. it doesnt that matter if its a PWN Class or "just" a Supporter Class ...
Whoa now. You will never see me use the term "PWN" and I never looked down on a support class. Nothing wrong with them. Of course its about being able to play a class. I cant pvp with an orc! So I wont be going that route.But I know some orcs that could slaughter me. Cant wait to see someflame in game I gotta see this amazing pvp skills first hand, ;)

Lol Im sure you will meet me right off the bat considering Ill be a SK. Not sure if ima go DPS build or Live for long time build lol. I think ima have to go health though.. if there are alot of daggers runnin around ima need the hp to drop 2 or 3 at a time..and with jewels not being on most chars..lol..high hp and high dmg nukes ftw. I cant wait.. gonna be like open beta all over again.
