Seeing that (so far) everything that was posted on the PlayForum site turned out to be true, I am sure most of the community will want to know what is the official NCsoft NA position on these notes.

Honestly i think they have enough on there hands trying to get C5 ready...
But as C5 was the last chronicle.. i figured this is what kind of updates we can expect from NC.. small and more regular.
These kinds of questions were asked when the C5 info was posted on PlayForum. Now don't get me wrong, I would like to know as much as everyone else, but NCNA never once confirmed anything about those notes until putting up NA C5 PTS patch notes for us. I doubt they will comment on this stuff until they are ready to add it to the NA servers.
But as C5 was the last chronicle.. i figured this is what kind of updates we can expect from NC.. small and more regular.

C5 is not the last large update (boy.. did NC bit themselves in the butt with that statement!).
It is the last large update called "chronicle".
I've been seeing demise posts all over the internet because of this statment. So no worries... we'll still get large updates.
Though, you might not be too far off. Maybe we will get new large updates, but they will contain many small changes, new items, etc along with new lands or structures.
We'll see.
As far as an official statement from NC? Besides the fact that they usually don't comment on the Korean game, it's also the weekend. They are dreading going to work tomorrow just like everyone else. ;)

Seriously though are they expecting to flaunt even a remote posibility for server transfers and not get reactions from the playerbase ? Euro players have been promised that since beta. For me this one thing is more important then C4 and C5 combined because this thing can bring me back to the game, fullspeed. :)

Speaking of which, I saw an amazing play last night at the Publik Theater (in Cambridge). It's called "Copenhagen" and is about Werner Heisenberg's visit to Niels Bohr in 1941.

Here's one that hasn't. What's "playforum"?
PlayForum (http://www.playforum.net/) is a *BIG* game community site in/for Korean gamers. The closest analogue for English readers would be the Warcry (http://www.warcry.com/) network of sites. AKA there is a Warcry subsite for a lot of games not just one. Just scroll down and click a link in the "Network Game Sites" sidebar on the left. (The Lineage II Warcry site is linked from the community page here...)
On the Playforum site, if you click the top link that starts with PF[Korean chars] just to the right of the big Playforum logo you are taken to a page that lists all the game subsites for Playforum. (Just read the address bar URL to tell what game each link will take you too!)
Anyway, Playforum is one of NCsofts favored fansites. So they often send 'exclusive' or 'hot' news to this site. Which is how the main site here does things also, giving exclusive screenshots or interviews to community sites like Stratics, Warcry, MMORPG.com or L2Vault.
In short, it is fairly likely that news appearing on PlayForum is real and not faked or fan speculation. On the other hand, you can also get the usual fan speculation and requests/demands there too...they just won't get news item status very often.
So after all that I still have no idea what this information is. Would have been much easier to give a link to the page, would it not? :p

But i figured we wount get the 6 months regular chronicle update more like what blizzard is doing: small updates happening all the time and some expansions later down the line.
For example before we would never get any updates other then language translation updates if it werent a Chronicle..
So this in my mind is good if the Korean player base fells that something is wrong we hopefully dont have to wait an age before it is happening.

Well, that's an interesting point. Maybe they have changed their minds on how the updates should/could go. Especially because some games add updates with additional content but don't consider it "a major update".

...I tend to think of it as just "Stratics" not lineage2/stratics or the 'Stratics' network. On the other hand when it comes to Warcry, its usually the opposite. I tend to add the 'lineage 2' or 'Network' to the beginning/end to clarify....most likely because I've had exposure to Warcry before lineage 2, but the only reason I ever even heard of Stratics is Lineage 2.
