CD Key and Mastercard

Not sure where to post this but as of August 24th NCsoft is not accepting Mastercard. I want to get a second acount for the wife and I can no longer do that cause all we have is a mastercard. Does anyone know a website where I can purchase a CD key with a Mastercard?

Not accepting Mastercard would be an even worse business model than what we have come to expect from NCsoft NA. :p

But aside from that, a direct 2 drive CD key would have been (and still is) cheaper anyway: http://www.direct2drive.com/

Makes me wonder about the monthly payments, though...

Don't scare me, I have MC because that was the only card my bank offered to me for internet transactions.

Hmm.. I use mastercard and I just checked my payments. Both my accounts were charged on the 22nd but one wasent due till the 1st of September!! I got shorted 10 days!! @#$$%@#!%

Where did you get your information? I can't find out anything about this. If its true, it will mean the end of L2 for me and my bf..:(

*edit* just checked my account and my charge went thru just fine and on time.

MasterCard is no longer accepted for online code purchase payments through the PlayNC store. (MasterCard can still be used for recurring subscription payments.) Thanks guys, No idea why they would stop this. You will still be able to pay monthly fees with the MC but not purchase a CD key.. kind of silly but now I am saving money :)

Well... it would be really great to know why this happens?
I even know ppl who used MC but cannot activate the account anymore with the MC cards... is this really just for purchase CD keys or is the card complete banned from the system?

Perhaps this just slapped down thousands of 'you know what' type of player. If so, TY NCSoft, good job!

Went ot the local EB and picked it up there for cheeper then online :) but the Game card however.. is a bit more expensive

i was thinking this too, but whats stopping them from going to Direct2Drive?
