Whats the deal with force logging? in a panic one is able to force logg by unhooking thier power cord or thier internet which will crash thier Game client, and thus for will not die. i for one find this rather annoying, when people can force logg thier account's whats you rin take on this people and admin's?
What you describe is not forcelogging, but the real forcelogging should be simply disabled, by giving the same 15 second wait as with disconnects, crashes or intentional logoff.
I absolutely see no valid reason, why I can push myself instantly online by logging my account in.
so you got 15 second's to logg, while being attacked? no sir that is not right that is Force logging crashing your game client, mostley used with l2 [censored] and bot programs, and no im not ranting on it so dont, lock this thread.
Crashing your client will not force log you. If you just crash your client, you will still stay in game for 15 seconds.
If you login on another instance of your client, THEN you are instantly logged off on the first instance of the client, even in mid fight. That is forcelogging and it works without illegal programs, but still is a bannable offense (or it should be !).
ppl that using bot to log off the game. it is so quick even when they on combat mode. once they hit the logoff key there char will be gone in the world in 2 seconds.
She is not saying force logging takes 15 seconds. She is telling you what you are describing is NOT force logging and you will remain in the game for 15 seconds.
You could fire a missile at your computer and your character would still stay in game for another few seconds. Crashing the client/pulling the plug/running over your computer with a tank does not forcelog you.
Your character will remain in game - even after the game is closed - for a little while.
The forcelogging you describe and that we are all familiar with is done by using an exploit (if not a ****), mostly done by using third party programs.

nah like kitten said just log into your account with another client
Wicky, I never said, taht there was no possibility to instantly log out. I am doing my own share of training and I know, that bot groups are capable of disappearing instanly, even while being hit.
But that kind of forcelog is NOT done by simply crashing the client. It requires a different technique, namely logging the same account in a second time. Due to the nature of client/server, any account, that is already logged in, will INSTANTLY logged out, when it is logged in again. So the second login brings the account to the server selection, while the original login is cut off, with the active char being instantly removed from the game world.
If you want to teach us about forcelogging, then please at least get the facts right. I did die so many times, when my client crashed, that I am 100% sure, that I did not just disappear on the spot.

Which is an exploit, not a feature.
It is an feature to kick anyone that may have hacked your accounts instantly offline and to tell you (in the login screen) that the account is allready in use which should make you change your password (if you still want to keep your equipment).
I think abusing this feature is an bannable offence.
15 seconds isn't really that much time. Long enough to die to a mob or get PK'd. IMO force logging should just be disabled. Meaning if you DC/crash/lighting strike/car hits house whatever cross your fingers and hope for the best. If your account gets hacked all your stuff is peobably gone anyway 15 seconds wont make a difference. It's a game design feature that is exploited day in day out. I'm sure it could be disabled, but would NcSoft do it.
