I have played a human rogue, monk and human fighter each to level 25.
I do like them all pretty much.
But now its time for me to decide, which char i wanna play to high levels.
Which one is the better soloer? which one is more wanted in parties? Which one is less gear depending? Which one has less downtimes? Which one is must fun (not boring later on)
I will solo a lot but do have an ork mystic friend with whom iam gonna duo from time to time.
Also considered to make an aw or pw. But not sure if worth to start playing them.
If your rogue goes TH in C5 you should have alot of success. They are acually good now!! Orc Tyrants do massive damage IF they can get to the enemy. Human Warriors can go Gladiator(duel) or Warlord(pole). Warlords get more parties and Gladiators suck quite alot.
chooise your class at 40 sinds then you got the basic idea how all class's are dont take a class just becose it's better take a class becose you like it sinds it's a long road to 75 :)
if you dont care about fun so will it be make a archer but remeber all things comes to a end if NCsoft think it's time to pull a nerf on archers you will get hurt a lot
I was going to give you same advice...."play them all up a bit farther" than level 25.
And your human fighter will not be able to go warlord or glad--he gets to be a tank (paladin or DA).
Choose the one that's been the most fun so far and stick with it a few more lvls--you can still go into NOS to level quickly or can hunt in AC pretty effectively with all of them. I would think 25-30 or so would be really quick for you.
If by class change time (38-39-40ish) you dont feel great about the character--grab your next favorite and level that one up.
That's what I'd do in your situation.

And why do glads suck quite a lot? Becuase they are suceptible to stun and magic? Please explain.

ehhh I love gladies the prob they have is reaching their enemies as they have little range, slow run speed and are very easy to kite
IMO Warlords are AMAZINGLY fun to play and in mass pvp/seige they can frigging own with aoe stun + skill and howl skill. They can tank pretty well and so you can take quite a beating before death, and exp as a warlord should be quite fast if you got a few healers around you. The 3rd class skills are quite fun too ... heck you even get a ranged stun o.O
Just incase you were wondering, Warlord will be my sub ;)
As for your rogue ... well daggers seem to be the new fotm, so if you wanna kill stuff, go treasure hunter ;) :P
Well i guess i will stick to a dagger class. I like melees who can deal serious damage.
The question which appears now is, should i stick with my human rouge or should i go PW or AW.
I think i will solo mostly to like level 40-50. Maybe later on aswell or just in smaller groups.
Hence the dagger class should solo well.
I read couple topis but i am not sure which dagger class to choose. What i read so far:
PW has high evasion skill, but doesnt hit hard
AW low hp but hits hard
TH somewhere in the middle
PVP is some issue aswell, but first there is PVE. Cause without PVE i will not level to get to PVP^^.
So more important for me is PVE. And i do not have a buffer or dual box. I got some cash from a friend and with the money i saved myself i can buy top D armor and weapon (not enchanted and no more cash left for good jewels - just medium ones).
Hope you guys can help me out which class suits best for my situation.
THx a lot!
I've heard TH is the best at PvE. Because, for some reason, NCSoft decided to make up for their lack of dex with passives, even though they have TONS of hp and only one less strength than a DE.. >.>
Not sure on best PvP, probably AW. Though my PW friend says he owns AWs. I'm just not sure on this one

THx for your help
Basicly i'll break down the in and outs of each class.
Treasure Hunter(TH): Uses daggers, many say its the best among the dagger classes. Also very useful with a bow. High damage with his skills. Has best passives nad has fake death. Good crit and attack speed. Best Con out of the 3 dagger classes. I myself have a TH, which I like very much. They are great for killing mages, much of the time in 2-3 skills. Fast aswell. In C5, they will become even better.
Tyrant: The tyrant is a light armoured class DD. They have low crit damage, low damage per hit, but attack VERY fast. Decent HP being an orc. Evasion is worthless. In c5 the "charge system" will be improved making them better in that field.
Glad/Warlord(WL): The glad and warlord are to very simular classes but have to diffrent roles, however both can accomplish eachother roles, but less eifficent. The Glad uses duals and is a heavy armoured DD focusing on skills as primary damage.Skills takes along time to regen. Warlord is made for the use of a pole arm and for "area of effect" partys, fast XPing and Great for mass pvp. Both are very slow, but TBH glads, are only good at lvl 55+ and even then.. Warlords have many uses, and you'll never find your self without a party, especialy if your in a clan. You'll be the center of it all. With a 360' stun attack and much more. Glads have very kool looking skills but neverget much love >.> also will benifit from the "charge system" inprovment in C5.
it chrges you up so you can use certain skills
different skills have different charge lvls
im no tyrant or glad but as you lvl you can have more charges and a skill might take 5 or 7 charges to use
The "Charge system" is what the Glad uses to boost him self.
As it is today, in C4 he need to boost/charge forces to be able to fire off some of his best skills, such as Sonic Blaster, Sonic Buster, Triple Sonic Slash, Double Sonic Slash etc.
In C5 that will be changed, eg. the Sonic Blaster will be able to be used without charging focus first. Also the TSS, DSS is changed so you should be able to use both of these on the same charged sonic, eg. 2 charges for DSS anf 3 charges for TSS.
Lets say i have 4 charged forces. I use 1 DSS = -2
Id normally have 2 charges left, would need 1 more focus for TSS.
With the changes ill be able to use TSS AND DSS with 4 charges?
I don´t think i got it >_<
