Personally, I'd go human, because they have more CON for me to play with. Means they have more life, and I can take off CON with tats and not mess them up too bad.
Dark Elf is a close second, though. They hit a LOT harder with regular attacks, and will be just as good/better at landing lethal attacks in c5.

Heheh, just listen to me on this one. Re-rolling at this point would be a horrible idea. I have some friends that play Abyss Walkers that are in A-Grade, and I've seen them get into fights. Even in C4 they can cause some serious pain when they get up close. I'll introduce you to them when they come on, and you can talk to them if you need to be re-assured by a high-level AW. :)
