Apprentice/For Newbie weapons

On the official site in the weaponlist there are a few weapons that I have never seen in game.. And really curious of how one can obtain them. I've heard rumours that they are suppoused to be rented for free only to newbie characters somewhere by an NPC but not sure if it's true.. Wonder if anyone can confirm this and how you get these items.

Apprentice Adventurer's Long Sword
Apprentice Adventurer's Bone Club
Apprentice Adventurer's Knife
Apprentice Adventurer's Bow
Apprentice Adventurer's Cestus

There are also these two weapons called:

Falchion - For Newbie
Mage Staff - For Newbie

that I'd really like to know more about.

Those apprentice weapons are weapons that you could obtain when c4 went live. For one month or so your character that was first to reach 5 and so long as you didnt have any characters over 25, could get an apprentice weapon with an NPC. He could also get a D-grade jcalled Traveller weapons once he reached level 20.

These weapons cannot be dropped, they cannot be sold, they cannot be enchanted and they cannot be crystalized. Also, they only work so long as you have 0 pk's.

I understand they plan to do this once more when c5 hits the servers.

So no dropping, selling, enchanting or crystalization.... But can they be traded to other toons (for instance from my dwarf to my DE knight)?

Also, if I get the "Traveller's Bastard Sword" can it be turned into a Dual?

No trading either....the only thing you can do with them is drag/drop them to the garbage bin in the inventory.

And I don't think you can "dualize" those ones...
