Mistryl does a really great job with putting up with us.
RustNC is the only producer that will hijack a thread, hell the only producer of any game that responds to the players in the forums like a real person not a suit.
HGMspam does a great job with his epic battle with EULA breakers, and it is an EPIC quest for sure.
You know everybody gives nc such a hard time but you fail to realize that without them WE WOULDNT HAVE LINEAGE2 just think of that next time you decide to bad talk nc soft. yes they make money off of us but everything on earth makes money off of something. just bring yourself off your high horse and appriciate them for being at least a decent company that entertains us for hundreds of hours.... Thank you NC soft

Actually we might of had a form of L2, just made by a different company, put under a different name. :p
The staff of L2 does work hard on trying to statisfy the community even with the lack of resource they sometimes have.
(ie. Staff members wroking from home to keep us posted)
Cool lets give NC an ego boost here. Sounds good. Well I am a fan of NC games period. L2 being my favorite of course. I have tried others by sony and codemasters(uck RF) and no one in this business has the skills to make a game like NC. Gotta love the friendships and rivalries that come from L2 also. ;)
I think that we have an amazing game for a trivial price.
The conceptual work, the coding, the game administration, and all the other things they do have taken hundreds of years of employee time, all of that has costs millions of dollars and substantial dedication.
I get to enjoy all that for something like $15 a month. Given the number of hours I play per month I suspect that I am accessing all this for under twenty five cents an hour.
I can't go to a movie, restaurant, bar, golfing, driving or much of anything else for five dollares an hour, much less twenty five cents an hour.
We get a great deal of fun at a trivial price, to the point where it is virtually free. Why do we get such a great deal? Because of the huge Korean (and other) player base that supports a game development far out of proportion to the revenues generated in NA and the EU.
NC Soft Makes the best promotional ingame/CG videos, for Lineage 2, out of all the other MMOs. I always get excited after watching new main vids, even if I never do actually reach that content, maybe someday. Awesome jobs on the Vids NC!
things that make L2 the best game (not just the best MMO). in reverse order of importance, so things i think are most important are at the bottom.
- there is no pause button.
- PvP anytime, anyplace.
- the free, massive, updates.
- a sharp learning curve.
- character customization happens after character creation.
- that you frequently find you have to give up one thing to get another.
- a difficulty level that makes other MMOs to shame.
- the art, the music, the character design.
- the community.

-Doesn't exsist in any mmo.
-"I got a main"
-If there wasn't free updates would you continue to pay?
-The game is easy to learn point click no skill
-Um what? That can be said on any game of an genre really.
-Grind to make money, grind to level,or give up your hang-ups and ebay like the rest of L2. Your right on that point.
-"Korean Grinder" came from games like this. Difficult?Naw, just requires another 24 hours a day to have a life.
-Great graphics but why did some characters get great looking armor while some got stuck looking Ummm. (http://www.rupaul.com/)
-We have community? WTS/WTB/WTT/BUY/SELL/SELL/BIGBOOM$$$++
Yea, i guess we do.
Actually, I'd like to compliment the Support team.
I have had great response and assistance from the tech support team. When I first started playing L2, it was my first video game ever... well, um, er, I did play pac man and Super Mario Bros :) ... and I knew NOTHING, i mean talk noob.. and any time I have had technical difficulties, I get (after the initial autoresponse) quality assistance in resolving my issue. I've had 2-3 major issues that were worked out very quickly as a result.
In many other MMORPGs, the resounding answer to paid updates is "Go ahead, rip us!"
There's some skill necessary to play your class, but it is no biggy indeed. Just get into some pick-up groups and you'll see...
No, there are many MMOs that force you to make your choices right early on. In RO, I've frequently had to reroll due to "building wrong," that can't happen in L2. I'm loving it. :D
If you're not experiencing the community, you're in the wrong clan. And not talking to random strangers enough. :D
Very true, most people say the best thing about games online are the interaction you get with other people around the world :p If your not getting that experience, then you might need to speak up or speak out...
(don't speak out badly thou & get flamed or banned.) heh
There are two things I've always loved about L2
-You have to compete for a lot of the good stuff, be it castles, clan halls, hunting grounds, raid bosses. Not much is always there for you when you need it.
-The ability to hassle people you don't like. The main thing I didn't like about WoW was no matter how much you didn't like someone, if they were on your side you basically had no way to kill them, train them whatever, you just had to put up with them. At least here you have a way of policing your space.
I recently had a very strange occurrence which ended with an unnecessary loss of XP. I sent in a GM petition. A day later I got an email stating that the matter was being escalated and that I would receive notification via email.
I figured that was the last I'd hear of the issue.
To my surprise, I was contacted 2 days after and my lost xp was restored.
About a year ago, my wife had an unfortunate issue, also NCS owned that resulted in an unnecessary loss of gear. Likewise, though it took some time, the GMs did investigate the matter and we were satisfied with the final result.
NCS does look after the player base... so long as the claims are legitimate and not a case of player error/misjudgement.
