I got some doubts, lets see if someone can give me a light.
Atm im a lvl 44 glad. Manored my way through my lvls and managed to get +4 SpiritxSpirit and full plate armor.
Currently, im lvling in enchanted valley, mostly on Satyrs, Unicorns and Valley Treants.
XP is decent, an avg of 0.30% per kill.
However, it takes way too long to kill stuff there, costs way too many soulshots and the bot armies lvling there make it even harder.
So.. where could i go to get decent XP solo?I hate cata/necro parties and id just mostly duo with my GF. But for now its pretty much solo.
So.. where to? I don´t mind using soulshots, as long as i can kill stuff relatively fast.
Some people said Timak Orcs.. any other comments?
Try hunters valley. or look on stratics.
Also plain of lizards right next to timacs think its good till u turn 45, plus there is a quest with "decent" reward.
I used to see a bunch of gladis running around Alligator Island, and that's where I did 40-44 with my Spellsinger. The mobs are still good after that, but I had a high level buffer, so I moved to tougher mobs.
Just watch out for swamp tribes. Tangle with those at level 44, and it's pretty much certain death.
agreed, i lvl'ed all the way to 48 or so on AI then moved up to EV. some of the mobs in EV have x3hp, so your right it will take longer but the xp is awsome.
i've never played a glad myself, but there is one thing i've always wondered and could never find an answer to:
the Focus Sonic skill... is there a point to charging it past the level you need to use a certain skill?
i.e. if TSS takes lets say... level 4 sonic, but you are charged to 6 at the time.. i hear it takes all 6 charges, but does it do more damage or something?
it would be sweet if it just took the 4 it needed and left the other 2 for a sonic blast or whatever..
Well, that was beeing in discussion in another thread. Atm, it uses all charges when u use a sonic skill.
But it seems that after C5, it will only take the necessary charges.
That will be sweet to link Buster->Blaster->DSS->TSS
To summarize the new charge system. I believe that if you in C5 use a skill that requires, say, 4 charges and you've charged all the way up to 9 and use it you'll lose 4 charges but will still do the damage as if you had used 9. That could probably have been more clear, but meh >.<
And yes, coins from the quest. Timak orcs are great for that purpose.
Well, i based my answer on Blaster.. it requires 1 charge and does 503 dmg with 1 or 2 charges.
Maybe DSS and TSS are different, i just dont have any of those 2 yet.
Correct, thats one of the changes there will be in C5... here the skill will always use the same amount of chares, but there will be some other changes so basicly I think (hope) the overall result will be better for the Glad.
