for example am SPS .. and have aqua splash aoe skill
and have weapon with MAGIC SILENCE - SA.
in description of wrote that it will lend on target with 10% chance
so ... question is ....
when am using AOE skill what will happend -
1. with 10% chance SILENCE will lend on all targets
2. on each cast SILENCE will lend to each effected trget seporate with 10% chance
3. SILENCE will lend only on current target and wont have effect on other targets effected by AOE skill
SA description is a bit incorrect. Silence lvl 1 is cast upon your target with 10% probability. That is, there is a good chance for failure.
Option 3. Silence will be cast toward your current target. It may fail though.
In case you cast something like Blasing Circle, silence SA is not applicable. This spell is centered on you and in fact you'd get damage if it will be available to hurt friends with AOE spells.

Battleaxe is correct if you have an SA like magic silence and you an AOE skill the SA will only affect the targeted mob and non of the other mobs. I use to have a Homu with magic paralysis it worked pretty good but the SA never landed when I used an AOE skill not ever. It landed pretty often when I attacked single mobs though.
