I really don't see that much talk of sk's on this game, their outlook seems to be positive but i just dont see many. is this the case or am i just missing them? I'm currently torn between bd and sk but currently am leading towards sk. i think if there was a lack id lean towards that class.
imo picking a class on rarety isnt the way to handle it. just pick the thing which job you like doing. you got either one of the best DD group buffers with good DD potential, or a tank with some new skills to toy with.
i am however one of those people which likes being rare a little aswell, thats part of the reason i am a overlord today. if you ask me however.. still pick the class you like.... and i know plenty of groups that do well without a tank, but a BD in a melee group is always a blessing
They are there.
Alot of people rerolled nukers and archers so they could be more effective in end game PVP. The bd will mix with any of those clases.
The closer to end game you get the less need there are for tanks since you can stack your groups up to just waste mobs anyway. I was tanking on TOI 10th at level 56 as a bd in a nuker party. Everything went down so fast that I never really got much of a chance to take alot of damage.
I have a 63 bd and a 58 sk. Which is better? Hmm , hard to say like orka said pick the class you like. I have fun with both, but their uses are completely different.
sk seems very versatile, and they just seem interesting. one of the things that i see that ddrives me away from bd is this: I'll see someone posting about what calss they should be and in everyone almost there's a high level bd (the only reason i know is that its in their sig) always saying "dont go bd, they suck" but give no explanation. i see that and im like, "****, maybe i should sk"

Nothing wrong with that but in mass pvp a bd is less likely to bump his pvp score because a nuker or archer has a higher chance of landing the killing blow.
BD's are welcomed into many, many groups. Problem is that if you have the skill you dont have to have the level. That being said if you are 58,you have all the important dances. The problem comes in when the 7x toons have to have you in the party. You being so low of a level means that you are "stripped" of some much needed xp.
Back to SK's I have to say from my experiences that they are probably the most fun tank class to play with an array of debuffs, dot's, and ofourse the cubics. They are the offensive tank.

no seriously I play a BD on PTS cerently 69.
Arrest owns, it's only problem is that it's range is 150...which is very very close so makes it hard for you to stop players or mobs.. but it's land rate is very high like 90-95%. also has a hate effect to it which is nice if your buffer gets random argo.
BD has like 7 usefull dances (buffs).
the issue is that at 58 you get the last usefull one till 74.
DE's low con = stun a lot.
I can get my BD's atk speed to 660 with out a SA. (tillum heavy and PP buffs) when I can get +4 dex and +4 dual kesh's and a baium ring that will be about 1k atk speed. her atk speed is so fast that it skips the red effect from Bss and it looks gold, but hits red. lol
SK is a nice class. I got owned repeatedly by a SK as a HE. the new arrest just owns. and SK can para players at a high rate.
And for a tank has the highest DPS. of the 4 tanks.
