Yeah as mentioned its 2 minutes. the counter is always going to indicate 1 minute remaining when someone sings/dances because in reality its 1 minute and 59 econds remianing.... and counting.
Dont worry to much about the enchanted part. That will only be an option when your much much higher level. As in 76+ or something.
why is enchanting songs for duration a bad thing?
surely danceing every 3 mins would be abetter option, or are you just talking about the waste of xp/sp
Exactly. Dances and songs cost more mp the more other dances/songs are already up. So what most BD/SwS in a party with another BD/SwS do is that they agree on how the s/d will be done - like "1221" for "I will do a dance, then you do two songs, then I do another dance". That way, they will spend approximately the same total amount of mp, or at least there won't be one of them who spends far more than the other. If now one of them has his songs/dances enchanted for duration, what will happen the second time s/d have to be done is that all the s/d of one player will still be up when the other one has to redo his. And then when the enchanted s/d are fading, the ones of the other player will still be up. Result: both players will spend far more mp than if the s/d had not been enchanted, because the players cannot "mix" their skills anymore.
So if you are a BD and have enchanted all your dances, every SwS you party with who has NOT enchanted his songs will hate you. And you will hate yourself, too, since you have to pay more mp, too.
