Ive been around for a while but ill be heading too Franz ones it opens up, so thats why i ask the question: Any good newbie quests around?, was quite a while ago i acctually did any.
If anyone has a link too a site which lists rewards and so on i would realy appriciate it.
Well the thing is, here at L2.com they dont list the reward for the quests and i realy want too know em beforehand if possible. Too know if its realy worth the time :)
no link to a site...though newbie quest guides are kinda counter-intuitive.
i've prob started 12-13 characters in past 9 months. There are some "good" and "okay" and "kinda clunky" newbie quests depending on area, class, character.
Not sure what you're asking tbh..........
DarkElf village has a couple that TI doesn't and vice versa--but how would that help you if you start an orc through the first 15 levels or so?
Your question points out one of the facets of playing an MMORPG that seems out of character---the fascination with "more adena---Faster" than others.
The facts are that you aren't going to make 5 million adena doing quests and hunting (even with manor) by lvl 15.
So why not do all the quests for your character in your starter town and ENJOY them?????
Most give you 'something' you can use...jewels, a weapon, some extra adena.
The ones that pay better? Take longer! Is it worth it, timewise, to make a bit more for a longer quest? Run them and decide for yourself.
How about this? How about if you defined "winning" at L2 as PLAYING L2--enjoying it as you learn?
Having a Brig helm is a crappy endpoint---you always find it doesn't quite make in-game life sunny and perfect. Besides, then you HAVE TO HAVE a fullplate helm soon--and a doom helm after that--and so on.
Generally the quests in all starter towns u can run at lvl 2 and 3 give you some healing pots or soulshot (ng) or a really useless and cheap piece of jewelry----but the thing is you have to kill those same mobs ANYWAY at those levels. So why wouldn't you take the quest?
M8, sry if i for some reason insulted you there i know i was a bit unspecific here but according too me your a "newbie" untill your in well.... high 30 low 40ish, dont think theres alot of quests in the starter towns for passed lvl 20...
Nah because the game is designed you should leave your home town by the time you did your first class change. Eventually every D grader gathers in Dion.
Ged--you're right on one count--considering many have played for 2.5 years and are subclassed and have multiple A grade toons----most of the rest of us are "noobs".
You're certainly a noob in game till after B-grade just cause there's so much to learn!
There are multiple low quests in EVERY starter town--do all of them essentially since you'll be killing the same mobs and might as well get the quest item.
You're question and answer weren't at all 'insulting'--don't worry about it.
Perhaps my answer above wasn't worded in a helpful manner!
No matter the character do the starter ones--those will route you through to gludin eventually where you know about AC and orc barracks and Black Lion quests, etc. The Black lion sends you to gludio and eventually to Dion.
Most (not all) quests have a reward tied to effort at lower levels--10 orc arrowheads takes 10 minutes and gets you 1000 adena on TI, etc.
Good luck.
