1. Not really, i see a fair amount of players when hunting. I have encountered very little random griefing.
2. See more real players than bots but then i dont really go to toi or catas much.
3. Prices has been jacked up alittle lately, but with the life orb thingy in c5 prices might go down a little who knows.
1.- Dead? O_o Well, if you're in the newbie village, maybe, but I assure you Giran is quite crowded. It was last time I could play.

I honestly don't think Erica is any worse than any of the other servers. We may not be as populated as Bartz or Teon but Erica is not dead by a long shot. Prices have come down some in the last few days. WHo knows what will happen after C5 goes live.
1) yes, i remember very clearly the days of tsa going nuts, now everything is or seems dead. As for Giran that place has been the same since t2 no change. (Sorry if this sounds like a flame, i just wish the old days would retake the server. Things were much more intresting and funny.)

1. yes god I wish they would merge servers or allow transfers. PR rules everything as usual but they realized that since they have everything and no use for adena anymore they can jsut pk everyone and use brez and guards to karma wash in clan halls. Seriously seen FOB pk so much I thought they were taking up the old MM quest for first guy to 5000pks. And its only going to get worse with lv 6,7,8 clan abilities they will be even stronger and harder to kill so no this is not a server for a new toon lol not unless you like these scenerios. Oh did anyone else notice that PR's alt clans own most of the clan halls now too!
2. If you hunt in solo areas no bots aren't so bad if you hunt in catas or anywhere else bots are everywhere. Seriously went into toi tonight in just the lobby all 4 areas with mobs were botted out.
3. Prices are insane everything has just gone sky rocket last couple months don't know why things all of a sudden jump up 10-20m. What blows my mind is the guys selling D and Cgrade sets for 20m and more I seriously hope no one is that insane to buy them or if so I need to find these people so I can party with them and see if they are trusting enough to drop their weapon real fast and pick up!
Bottom line go somewhere else or you will be kicking yourself over it later on.
Speaking of blown up mind, I logged in the other day and found Blue Wolf Helm being sold for 25m. Now this is past the point of stupidity that it's actually funny. =)
1. It's dead only in the eyes of the ones that can only see 2 sides on the server, beside those 2 sides are alot and i mean ALOT of other ppl/clans/allies.
It's quite simple...: interest in politics? u'll just see just 2 sides... no interest in politics? the happy way to go and u will see loads of ppl :)

3. just don't buy overpriced stuff, farm ur own mats or make friends with some dwarves ;)

ROFL. That's one of the reasons why after playing on Erica for soooo long I started to Hate this server. I've lost way too many friends who decided to join SP simply cause they (SP) were larger, better and more powerful. Or there were too carebear to fight for their own beliefs so they needed to join a Zerg to protect them.
Also SP being in Bed with the RG doesn't quite help the matter either.
Then when Avalon broke up thanks to the C5 clan structure, I said Screw it, I'm out of here.
I've been playing on Erica ever since I started L2 way back when. Probably A lot longer than you've been here on Erica, RumPunch. Besides, if you're NOT either in SP/Anti-SP, you're a non-factor in this War anyway. You can talk about it all you want though. Untill you join the former Avalon or maybe Mercs, or any other clan/ally that's heavily at war with SP or maybe you can do just like most of the people and join SP cause you know, you might need their Zerg of a protection, your opinion of this war hardly matters. However I am tired of having to deal with certain elements that are brought about by SP(PR) and no, it's not the Griefing or the PK'ing.
I've only been on Bartz now for a little over/under a Month or so.
When most of your friends quit or join your Enemy, there was nothing left that was holding me here on Erica.
I went to Bartz cause that's where a few of my friends went a month or 2 before me.

PR is mad lame, so is avadon.
I got tired of being called a enemy to SP when I was out of the anti-SP side for over 7 mouths, and was fighting on their side.
ERICA is a horrible server to start on, I've even tried to get some friends to leave and come to kain with me, Kain is awesome and the heros are actually usefull and helpfull. whilest you can't expect a thing from any hero on erica besides a PK.
The market on erica alone: jesh, I don't understand why any one still waste their time there, I have a lvl 69 necro with over 300m on him and still in full DC set...I left it and rerolled...boy was it the best thing I've ever done!!!!

I agree with the Admiral that anyone who breaks the EULA cheats and is ultra lame. Combatting them is part of what makes Erica a classic good versus evil battle. It doesn't matter which 'side' the cheaters are on. Honest players represent the Good and cheaters the Evil.

Whe classic Good vs Evil battle ended when BoundByHonor disbanded IMO. It was the last powerfull legit alliance. The new legit alliances aren't even close. The battle now is an Evil vs Evil battle (Avalon vs PR) to see who is best at being Evil.
The Good exists, the question is whether or not it will ever grow to defeat The Evil.
It may not, just like in the rw. Kind of like Don Quixiote, striving for The Good regardless of whether or not there will ever be a victory. This is what determines a real Hero, not the pseudo 'heros' that L2 makes.
they way i see it now is there is no way to combat evil, when being evil is so much fun :p :D
Evil can be fun, but being good is much more satisfying. To be evil is easy, it's not hard to do at all. You want a REAL in-game challenge? Try being good, all the time, no matter what, under the great diversity that L2 offers....especailly Erica. If you succeed there is no prize. No prize beyond pride, self-respect, honor, and a sence of decency. For me that is far better then top gear and end game levels aquried by less then honest means. If and/or when I do get thoes things, after many many hours of hard work, I will get the greatest prize L2 can hope to offer....a sence of accomplishment.
i know what you mean, you can still be evil and be honest. for example i use to know a bunch of peeps who pked/pvp like mad and they where good at it. but they didnt talk one ounce of smack talk, did bot there toons, and where actualy really nice people. so it is possable to be evil and have integerty. after all if you didnt have evil, the good side would be boring as hell, i know form experence elsewhere.
there are some of us in sp that are nice tho :) w/ my EE i still buff noobs, give guidance on quests etc. w/ sws id sometimes run around giving ppl song of wind (the ones that couldnt afford to port)
