So..I read that updating from a cd is going to take forever..this is true since my client has been going for 20+ minutes and hasn't even budged. So..I read the FAQ and clicked on that link that has the C4 patch..thats going to take around 10 hours. Does anyone have that zipped C4 install and would be willling to hop on AIM or something and send it to me? Pleeeease? Or maybe show me a site where the download is faster?
You do realize that updating from retail cd to C4 is close to 1 gig of content, i doubt anyone could just send it to you throught AIM.
You have two options...But being how close C5 is you really only have one option. Wait till they release the C5 client, download it from the website then install the game.
Actualy, there are 3 options. Get the Test server updater and updait streight for C5, which will be on live servers on wednesday. Then you just put Lineage2.exe for live client to your's folder.
Goto Fileplanet and DL the full C4 install then after that runs 3-4 hrs to get it and install its not all that bad, lastly it will update a few more patches about 30mins and your good to go play. but its much better then 12+hrs if you only have the game cd's lol. So uninstall what you gots now and go get to the DL site!
You will also need to be fileplanet free member and that waiting line is about 30mins unless you are paid member.
OK I have Lineage 2 installed and playing with what its saying is up to date. Do you mean I have to Download C4 and C5? Some info on this would be great. Played 2 years ago but just got back into it last week....explain the C4 and C5 stuff to me ....Thanks
If it's up to date now then you have the C4 now. On wednesday C5 will arive and you will have to download the C5 to be able to play.
