I need to know what class and race is best at: Dual Swords, Polearms, and Nuker.
Thanks alot!
I think you need to be more specific in some cases.
Nuker? Well, Spell Howlers are very good at PvP and Insanely good at soloing. However,
Necromancers and Sorcerors are probably better at the PvP part. Sorcerors for their faster cast speed and necromancers because of their debuffs and summons. Though, Spellhowlers generally do the most damage out of all of them in one shot.
"Then again" Spellsingers are THE fastest spell casters in game and do extremely well in PvP. they are also harder to lvl as they have few mana mangement skills.
Dual swords? Hmmm.. Well I think Gladiator or Blade Dancer. However, Blade Dancer is mostly a Damage Dealing but primarily party buffing class.
Glads are supposed to be more of the "Damage Dealing" type of class but I can't get the posts straight.. some say they suck and others say "learn how to play the class.
Pole Arms? I have no idea. My first guess is Orc Destroyer but I'm sure others have better experience with this. Welcome to the game by the way.
classes which are good with polearms are
Warlord (human)>Destroyer (orc) > Warthmish/Bountyhunter (dwarfs).
This is rating accodring to the amount of polearm related skills, including the C5 information.
The warlord is good as a pole user because of AoE stun and the insanely fast pulls (Provoke anyone?), but the destroyer has slightly higher DPS at times from what I hear.
As for duals, the Gladiator has very profound weaknesses (like being too slow to actually get to targets), but they have gotten some boost in C5 and can put down (in personal experience) a really bad amount of pain very quickly and reliably once next to a target: No use praying his specials once a gladiator is next to you, or so my experience says (but I'm a robe target with only 20% TP at the time - he was around my level tho). The BD is an all around excellent class, their only real crux being 1v1 PvP. In small and large PvE melee groups, in archer groups, in mage groups, at raids in PvP - they're always welcome.
For nukers... well, it depends on what you want to do with it, really.
