After popping 14 pairs of doom boots, 5 Pairs of gloves, 6 Doom LA, And a massive 30 Doom helms i succeeded in a complete Doom light set...
Approx 180 EAB used (Nobless passes wft)
End result
+7 Gloves
+7 Boots
+6 LA
+6 Helm
Conclusion, its not worth doing.. (unless the bonus is really good). Total cost 183 mil +EAB
Has anyone else tried for there +6 sets ??

I am pretty curious how much will doom helmet go for in C5.

As far as I'v been informed the SA bonus is NOT applying as a OE'ed set bonus.
The +6 bonus is something you get for each part that are OE'er to +6 or more.
So lets say gloves gives +20 MP and boots give +20 P.def. and if only the boots are +6, then you still get the +20 P.def.

But you are right, it's going to be VERY exiting to see what the +6 OE gives on the different parts/sets :)

nope, and giran was out of helms for a few day ;)

my allys on PTS loged in last week started to o/e like hell failed a ton and never had enough EA/D to try any more.

WE never found out.

I hope you post what you get make a SS of your ch stats now before C5 hits live.

Yep, but once i started, i just got more angry every time i failed (applies to helm only). I will abmit to cursing a liitle bit..

I got a +6 DC robe set, doesn't cost too much to make really, mainly luck with the helm. base p.def of 845 with shield 3, lets see what gives in C5.

Bought DC leggins for the hell of it and tried +6 last night too... they worked so I just need the top to +6 and swap my boots and gloves over for +6 DC light. :)

I have a +ed up BW Light set. It took me a while, I did half of it before I heard about the +6 bonuses in C5. I finished it up after I heard I would get something for it. I wanted the p.def so I had been +ing before C5 anouncements though. I have 894 P.def with Sheild 3 on my 75 EE.

+6 BW Helmet
+6 BW Gloves
+6 BW Boots
+7 BW Leather Armor

I think the +6 armor bonus is gonna piss people off cause it isn't going to be near in value that you invested. 183m on armor...that's just dumb imo and B grade? If the bonus for this armo was +++cp +++hp +++def and was uber bonus, then fine. Let's just call it a money sink
