Critical Power Vs Focus

What's the difference between these when applied as an special ability on a weapon?

Focus increases the chance of you getting a critical hit.

Critical Power increase the damage you do when you score a critical hit.

think it`l ldepend on the weapon. i find alot of classes that cant reach max critrate on full buffs will go for the focus. i know i would hehe

well i hade a DS(focus) and a crystal dagger(critical power) and i sell'd the DS(focus) i did not see the diference then so i keapt the crystal dagger

Focus is generally preferred because if you crit a lot with critical damage buffs (DW/BD dance) you'll do some truely sick damage.

but, if you roll with a SWS and BD I think the Crit damage would be better caus on my AW I crit a normal white mob with BD/SWS for 1500-2000 and ALOT ^^ B GRADE

Its a matter of going with strenghts or correcting weaknesses.

Id say an AW sould use focus becuase they have critical power passives. And a PW should use Critical Power because they have Crit chance passivs.

But thats just me.

Also, critical damage adds a set amount of damamge AFTER all buffs. So i got mycelf focus. I never go to crit rate limit (500) and my damage is maxumum boosted from my buffs, tats and togle skills.
