Since the Necromancer is apparently classified by NC Korea as a "summoner", why is the ES, PS, and Warlock servitors weaker in the base stats and lack such skills as stun and life drain?
Not only that, necro's summon got same P.atk as all the other summons but thers one other thing, They got double the Crit rate.... Not only that Necro got own nukes as good as any other classes nukes, oh and beside that they got debuffs.
They got everything in the game, got the max damage of almost every type of class except mele :P but yeah they are the class who completly own anything in 1v1.

I don't know where you got your info but last i checked the cursed man beats soulles by about 10% in patk. The true summoners actually have WORSE patk than necros.
And Necros are NOT summoners, infact they don't summon at all they re-animate, we summon something out of nothing, they have to kill something first......
I think the rationale behind making the necro summons stronger is that necros can't really buff or heal their summons when solo like a true summoner can ... in groups fully buffed however you can throw that necro summon "balance" out the door :(
Necromancers suck as summoners, but their servitors are disgusting.
I would scream overpowered very hard if ours louder than I did when I heard about Erase if ours had that kind of skills - but you know, necros don't know how to press more than the death spike/dark vortex/vamp claw buttons anyway, so the world's pretty much safe from their terror-babies.
I still think the cursed man should have the Curse of Shade in-built.

ws subbed necro
you guys should be really scared of me, a necro who is actually inclined to use the summon for more than transfer pain
but you know, necros don't know how to press more than the death spike/dark vortex/vamp claw buttons anyway
Speak for yourself maline.. Do not judge all necromancers cause you had bad run-ins with FOTM noobs. All we got to buff our reanimations is shield 1 and might 1. Debuffs? Sure, before you get them off, the pet is beaten to smitherines already, their P-Def sux, M-def even more. True, most only summon their corrupt in pvp and you know why? Cause it's highly inefficient and expensive to level with a servitor. Pet skills? mmm yah.. a puny life drain on the corrupt and perhaps stun of the cursed lands sometimes.. Effects looks pretty nice tho..
In every single game, necromancers own. They are the most feared class everywhere. It's a tradition. :p Sadly it's only in L2 that I hear people whine out of spite.
in most games i know with a necro in it, Necro means easy mode. did that cross your mind ? to add to that, this is one of relatively few games where PVP is the main purpose and actually has a necros in it.
its easy to see.. they nuke as hard as a sorc, but take less dmg, got a pet got silence, got para, better mana management.. gloom 0.o ow no they need deathspikes!!.. well in this period of the game money is NOT an issue anymore. the honost people will think of ways to fund their bones, the "other" people will have more money when they need it :/
before, it was the money issue that people called the "necro ballance" but thats out of the window. all we got left now is a hybrid with BEST of both worlds in the PVP context. where as i feel they should have less dps summons and less dmg nukes. thats how a hybrid functions mostly :/
Has it occured to you how idiotic "they own in every game and you should accept this" sounds?
I know just how frail a servitor is in PvP - and that they're not a primary target unless they're in someone's face. I'm a summoner after all, and I've actually not had to press servitor heal in PvP because, even with the pony ******* someone's leg, I get hit first - because people are too dumb to realise that I'd actually go down faster if they took the pony out first.
Sure, in 1v1 everyone goes for the servitor first - but in 1v1, realistically you shouldn't have the servitor - what with no mobs around and stuff; it's idiotic that/if you can summon from a servitor's corpse when they're not even really creatures of this plane.
In a group PvP, any swing that went into a servitor did not go into your healer - a good thing.
