C5 client? (links/mirrors yet?) - Retail Forum Archives

Im wondering about the c5 client. I already downloaded the C5 PTS version. Will that work tommorow or I have to download 3 gigs again? Im hopeing it will just update abit and work. Would save alot of bandwidth for alot of people.
It would also be nice to have some download mirrors starting tonight to avoid the tommorow heavy load.
(sry if this is a double post. couldnt find anything about it)

You can try copying some of the C5 content over... But there may have been updates since then.

I searched. I cant find a single post that says anything about the C5 PTS client working or not working on live C5 servers.

I also cant find any any post saying we will need to download the C5 full client tommorow, or if there will be an auto update for the c4 client/c5 pts client.

There are tons more posts that I have found. But to make it simple, yes. DL the C5 test, follow the instrctions here on this site in the "downloads" section. Tomorrow, when the update server is up, you will have a small update. You do not need to down load anything else.

Just copy the content files from your C5 install over to your C4 install. And when i say content i'm talking about all the files expect your system directory and the LineageII.exe

Thats what i'm going to do...

Actually that file is to convert from current from current live to PTS (hence PTSConversion)

The file that converts FROM PTS to Live is Though this is C4 PTS to Live (ftp://l2clientdownload.lineage2.com/Chronicle04/L2_C4_Live_Conversion.zip) It will prolly still work as it just basically changes the IP of the update servers

Brahm you are correct also.
FYI to everyone doing this PTS to Live conversion. After it is all dl'ed do a check file. Then after that go to c: promt and make sure you ipconfig/flushdns. Its imperative(sp) to do these 2 steps
