No actually many notable groups on lionnna disappeared about a week ago. Mostly just the train leaders but there was indeed a bannning and the light status came sequentially. Server by server.

Come on if you have never play L2 before and someone sends you a buddy code and you do research that 3rd party programs rule the game why would you even play. But if there is disccussiuon that there were mass banning that you would feel as if the company is doing something about it.???

It never hurts to show a large amount of new acounts and subscriptions to coincide with the chronicle release. LOL
Looks like there was a massbanning which was a bit more random, some people that had nothing to do with it got banned or suspended over the holiday too.

Actually, we perform mass bans multiple times each month, as part of our effort to curb the use of 3rd party software and abuse of the User Agreement.
To be fair they aren't that noticable to normal players really. Whether it's because they are characters they don't miss or because you aren't banning many I don't know.
This recent mass banning is easy to notice on my server, Forbidden Path - 0 bot trains (was 6-7), Varka Silenos - 1 bot train (was 5-6) etc.
Also one guy who botted his entire train to Noblesse and made one of them a hero was banned too!
I'm happy with the recent bannings, I think there are still plenty of chars to ban but if NC can keep this kind of performance up I think a lot of players will be far happier.
I signed up for this game yesterday only cause someone mentioned online the word lineage II once and immediately I went nuts and bought a 3 month subscription without finding what exactly game was like. As you see, not everyone signs up for this game cause of the new update. I just found out myself after I subscribed.

Wait a while. People will post that "my friend got banned and he would never do anything wrong." It happens a lot. Then, go to Blah.com and read how people brag about getting banned for botting while pleading with NCSoft to unban their account ("I was out of town when it happened", etc) and get their accounts back.
