Being Red

Player Questions Started Last reply 5 posts
I know the basics of it. But haven't really played this game since Prelude/CH1...

What is like being a RED???
There must be some people here who live the red life..whats it like???

(specific question-
Is there any red town?or such?
IOW a place where reds can go to buy/sell things??
IE a UO like Buccaneers Den?

Or are you basically forced to have an alt/pals to aid you?)
when youre red, you have a feeling like youre outta control.

at least thats how i see myself.

i just wanna kill everything in sight.

btw, you no longer drop during pvp/pk unless you are already red, and have over 5 pk points.

you cant target shops in town (if you can get in town), and if you really want to live on the edge, you live around floran village.

nobody really "is red" anymore besides darkmotion. but even then, its mascara.
Don't say that.

My assassin character routinely goes red. I have a nice little house in Floran, just for the occasion.

What we need is people who are willing to plant dwarves in Floran and make a market for red players to be able to benefit from.

Not everyone is sneaky enough to get into a city other than Gludin.

You can't just run into town and all NPCS in town will ignore you.
You're constantly in fear of dropping stuff [C4].
PPl shoot first and ask questions later.
Can't use the WH (except floran).
All ur SOE's put u within ganking distance from town.
Only quests outside town can be taken.
All party drops skip you.
Can't aquire new skills on levelling up (only town NPCs can train you).

When you've finished you're exploration of going to the dark side, its ****ed tedious burning off all the excess karma and doing the sin eater quest. If you killed a few too many you've practically thrown you're toon away, unless you want to spend weeks/months burning off karma.
What I hate the most is classes with aoe skills can't use them while red as people don't flag when they hit you, and aoe's ignore unflagged players.
