Weird spawns - Mobs on a shift schedule ? o.O

General Discussion Started Last reply 12 posts
SInce yesterday something very weird is happening in the catas.

It seem s the Nephilim Bishops are on strike and have been replaced by Lilim Priests.

Rooms that had 4 types of mobs now have 2 or 3 types ! But the same overall amount of mobs!
It's the first time ever that I see such weirdnesses.

Anyone else noticed or know why ?
Maybe they are unhappy with the pay rise they have been offered for appearing in C5?

No idea to be honest, haven't noticed it anywhere else and not been in any catas ot necros for a while.
its Mammon week, it always happen that the mobs replaced...
Nah, it was Labor Day. They got the week off.

It has been that way since the 7 sings things were introduced. You get different mobs in the competition week than in the validation week. Not all mobs are exchanged, but some are.
I guess it'll tell you what time I've spent in there lol
This page (http://www.lineage2.com/background/chronicle3/list.html) explains the story of the Seven Signs. The Nephilim are the soldiers of Anakim and the Lilim soldiers of Lilith. During the validation period, depending upon which side holds which seals, only certain mobs will spawn. It appears that Dawn won on your server, so Anakim's warriors get to take a break while all enjoy in hunting Lilith and her followers.
I've never noticed that... :o
I noticed, but so long as they died, I didn't pay it much attention. At least, not after the first week.
If you stay in necro/cata during exact time when validation wek turns to competition and vice versa, those mobs disappear for good few minutes (dungeons are "mobless" :) ) and are replaced by different ones.

... and you get kicked out when it turns to competition week and you walk too close to a mob :)
