Time Zones

Right, I'm getting rather confussled.

CDT is 5 hours behind GMT, correct? I'm just trying to work out when these servers are going down, i think its 13:00GMT, not too sure tho.

Can someone correct this if its wrong?

They said 8:00 AM CDT and yes, we are 5 hours ahead at GMT time. CDT = GMT -5. So the servers should go down at 1:00 PM GMT, and be back up by 7:00 PM GMT. (They said a 6 hour downtime)

full list :

GMT+0 = 14:00-20:00
GMT+1 = 15:00-21:00
GMT+2 = 16:00-22:00
GMT+3 = 17:00-23:00

I cant see how it can be 9pm, if it goes down at 1pm and is then down for another 6 hours, it would be 7pm.

Either way, 7pm or 9pm, i'm still going to have a good session on it.

But now i read on another forum topic that its -6 hours GMT so its going to be around 8pm.

Need good amount of coffee to get a head start in the game..

CST is GMT-6, CDT is GMT-5

servers will go down at 3pm and come up at 9 pm if you're on the mainland of europe (holland/france/germany/denmark etc), that's 2pm and 8pm in the uk

I just woke up a little awhile ago, and i was goin to check out how the lineage 2 servers were and it say "The connection to the update server has been terminated" so im like....... o.O
WTH?! so i restart pc and again. Can someone please tell me y i cant update to C5 yet or is everyone getting this problem?

Because the serves are going to be down for 6 hours and its only been ONE hour since they went down.

I'm able to update from the autoupdater. And Yes, Discreet i did get that same problem, but as Mortova said it was because of the servers going down.

The autoupdate is very slow, but thats expected by the number of people trying to get it.

Oh, and Its 5 Hours time till it actually does go up, so i may aswell leave it on the autoupdate, its not going to take that long to download anyway.

But does anyone have any clue of what size C5 is?

Ah ok cheers, it must mean its only a few 100meg.. cool.. well i'm half way though, no rush to download it fast as its not till 8pm (uk) or 9pm (cent euro) till we can play.

Updater lost connection with the server once. I immediately reconnected and now it goes real fast (half way already). If things continieu like this, I think I'll be able to start the minute the servers come up :p
