Im level 20 fighting white / yellow Lizardmen outside of Gludio and getting less exp / coin than when i was level 19 fighting blues / greens. is it because of the player crafted D-class items?
Are you saying that the exp/adena is worse for each mob or worse over time? Because if you're fighting yellows then you'll kill fewer mobs in a give amount of time than if you were fighting greens. Some mobs though give better exp/adena than others. Finding the good ones is a matter of experience.
At your level, you should be fighting Langk Lizards south of gludin.
Every mob has a different XP rate. Some have 1/4, 1/2x, 2x, 3x etc, even 6x in rifts. These are listed in their HP bar at the top (click the downward triangle to display). You'll find that unless the mob is white to you, your chances of getting all items/adena available to you is slightly decreased.
Experiement; try different mobs and make a note of their xp/adena. Once you find the ones you can kill in less hits and gain more xp/adena, stick around - they'll be cheaper on the old shots and HP/Pots.
with the new items i bought im able to kill the King Spiders in that area which are red to me faster than i used to kill blues with my old gear from level 19. i thought maybe it was a way the game designers stoped power leveling with superior gear. i guess i may just need to try a new area. thanks for the feedback.

This is important to pay attention to but not all you need to watch for. If you take 1x HP mobs of the same level from different mob types... the exp/adena they give will be comparable but not identical. There are certain fields/mob types that are more profitable than others of the same "level/xHP".
You'll find that unless the mob is white to you, your chances of getting all items/adena available to you is slightly decreased.
This is not completely correct. These is no exp/adena penalty for Greens, Whites, Yellows, Pinks, and Reds. There ARE penalties when fighting Light Blue and Dark Blue mobs. The only penalty to fighting Yellow, Pink, and Red mobs is that your accuracy is low, their evasion is high, so you will miss often AND they have many more HP.
Yes i was talkin about Maille Barracks. Thanks for explaining the 1/2 Xp 1/2 Hp...that explains why they were unusually easy to kill.
i got another question if anyone is still reading this thread...how do you obtain Crystal: D Grade?
You get less XP for same level mobs as soon a you leave the surroundings of a starting town.
For example, if you start a light elf, you will get considerably more XP hunting green and white mobs in this area than going to gludio hunting yellow or reds.
I guess mobs around starting towns ares give more XP to help nre players level faster.

I will have to check this again but I believe you are wrong. The difference is it takes longer to kill yellow/red mobs than white/green. So the amount of xp over time goes down. the amount of xp given per mob is still higher unless they are 1/2, 1/4 HP mobs.
to the OP--there is WIDE variation in low mobs--in both the exp they give you, how hard they are for YOU to kill--and what they drop.
Dwarves in dwarfland do great at lvl 19 on golems exp wise--they are green at that point and are relatively easy to kill. Of course it's their starter area. They don't particularly drop adena well though.
Take same dwarf at lvl 20 to Langk Lizard area and he is killing lizards white and even yellow--takes about the same time--slightly less exp than the golems previously. Better adena drops though overall.
Remember too, what is 'harder' for a melee to kill may be because of that particular mob--it may fall easily to an archer or a spell.....and vice versa.
Each class and almost each weapon and armor set will eventually begin to suggest areas where you might do better or not so good in kills-over-time for exp or drops.
It's part of what makes L2 challenging and fun (and why many folks constantly reroll lower toons---they like that challenge).
Melee toons will do well in wastelands--some of those mobs are resistant to both bows and some spells--golems for instance. As an example, there are other mobs in the same wastelands that are easier for an archer to kill than they would be for a melee--the ants that stun as an example that have no natural defence against bows.
At level 20 you should, depending upon your character, be able to hunt something near AC, some things around fellmere, everything immediately outside of gludin, most of the stuff in the langk area. If you don't find good exp for your time--look up a couple other mobs that you see that con green or white to you.
Some folks find it easier and profitable to go back to starter area for 2 more levels after class change at 20 precisely because they know more about the mobs in that first region and are more effecient.
Efficient killing is what L2 is all about--best weapon, green mobs, and slaughter! If you want faster exp you might consider NOS (unless your a new archer--kinda risky). You'll get exp and if you're careful you can slink about the first rooms fairly efficiently. If you're not sure go in the first times with someone a bit higher and 'get your feet wet' learning which mobs aggro or assist. Generally you wont make actual adena there in any amount but the seal stones will be a bonus for you.
