Hello Everyone

I am completely new to lineage II. After playing 5 hours on Erica and 4 on Devianne, I feel that I can call this server my home. I hope to meet you guys in game somedays and have plenty of fun.

I made a level 13 dwarven fighter (m) last night, but I believe I`ve only seen 4 players that are active the entire playing time. I was wondering if you guys can let me know where the server`s hangout was so I could meet some new people. My name is KungfuPauper. I might make another character some random day, but I`ll let my friends know in advance!
Welcome to the server....
The best IMHO....
And if you want to actually fight - re-roll now...dwarves are not meant to fight (as severley discussed in the msg boards)
You will prob meet a few peeps initially in the smaller towns, but it really gets going in your 40's.
Most peeps are centered around the town of Giran...

Again - welcome and GL
I do suppose I would remake sometime, but probably after my dwarf reaches 25 so I can supply my new character with a few pieces of better equips. I am in love with the newbie buffs.
remember only your dwarpg will get those buffs now. Any other toon you make will not get them.

You really start running into people around Dion mid 20's lvl. Im sure though with the new clan system there will be alot of players in the new areas for the next month or so. Alot of clans will be running alts through thier academies to get points to upgrade clans.

Anyway welcome to Devianne it's a great server.
darpg ... is that a dwarf-only rpg ?

or is it more of a gwar soundtracked rpg featuring little dorfs ..?
LMAO that what happens when im trying to post, clost out programs, log of to go home from work all at the same time.
actually 1) you'll find a significant number of group-friendly people in dion. The folks in giran are mostly selling stuff and none of them will group or hunt or actually leave the town. The good news is you'll get to dion before giran so it all works out.
2) Level your dwarf to 25 or 30 if you can stand it.
Then start another toon that can actually perform either as a melee, nuker, or whatever.
If you like whacking things with swords look at the dd classes--glads, BDs, etc.
If you like tanking (which means you need therapy---you can join my group) then pally/DA types are for you.
If you wanna kill in one click---you are not a tank by definition (or a damage dealer) and should look for a nuke heavy class!
Regardless, you'll find dwarf indifferent as dd's and they don't group easily or often. They are GREAT for supporting your other toons on that account!
Btw--after 1st class change, the warsmith class change at 40, imo is the absolute worst in the game (i haven't done many though so I could be wrong). It's REALLY expensive, takes forever, and involves that little snot Toma!
Good luck to you.

PS. You're just about done with newbie buffs! Then you'll need playing companions!
You can have an adventure - walk alone to the Elven Village, without teleporting :)

Being level 35, I took few friends with the same level and we went deep to the Death Pass, and you know what? There's a cave there, the enter is like a mouth of the dragon. We reached it. Some of us were killed by monsters for 7 times, but the spirit of adventure - that's the main idea.
:)
Now, while your level is not so big - you can try :)
That is just my personal suggestion...
And good luck to you!
